Abstract

The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces and more specifically to techniques for displaying user interfaces associated with physical activities. Exemplary user interfaces related to activity competitions are described. Exemplary user interfaces related to a friends list for activity sharing are described. Exemplary user interfaces associated with alerts presented to a user in response to automatically determining a boundary of a workout are described. Exemplary user interfaces associated with configuring a pace alert for a workout application are described.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . An electronic device comprising:
 a display; one or more sensors; one or more processors; and memory storing one or more programs configured to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs including instructions for:
 detecting, via the one or more sensors, activity data, wherein the activity data is detected while an existing physical activity tracking function is active; and
 in response to detecting the activity data:
 in accordance with a determination that the activity data satisfies activity boundary alert criteria, displaying, via the display, an activity boundary alert, wherein the activity boundary alert includes a first affordance;
 in accordance with a determination that the activity data does not satisfy the activity boundary alert criteria, forgoing display of the activity boundary alert that includes the first affordance;

 while the first affordance is displayed, receiving an input corresponding to selection of the first affordance; and
 in response to receiving the input corresponding to selection of the first affordance:
 ending the existing physical activity tracking function; and

 storing activity data detected prior to receiving the input as a previous workout.

         2 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the activity boundary alert includes a second affordance that is different from the first affordance, wherein the second affordance is displayed concurrently with the first affordance, and wherein the second affordance, when selected, pauses the existing physical activity tracking function.

         3 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the activity boundary alert includes a third affordance that is different from the first affordance, wherein the third affordance is displayed concurrently with the first affordance, and wherein the third affordance, when selected, causes the electronic device to cease displaying the activity boundary alert.

         4 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the activity boundary alert includes a fourth affordance that is different from the first affordance, wherein the fourth affordance is displayed concurrently with the first affordance, and wherein the fourth affordance, when selected, causes the electronic device to forgo ending the existing physical activity tracking function.

         5 . The electronic device of claim 1 , the one or more programs further including instructions for:
 in response to receiving the input corresponding to selection of the first affordance, displaying a user interface that includes one or more representations of metrics of physical activity that were collected by the existing physical activity tracking function.

         6 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the one or more representations of metrics includes activity data that was detected before the existing physical activity tracking function was active.

         7 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the activity boundary alert is displayed with a representation of a physical activity that is being tracked by the existing physical activity tracking function.

         8 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the electronic device includes a rotatable input mechanism, the one or more programs further including instructions for:
 while displaying the activity boundary alert that includes the first affordance, receiving an input corresponding to a rotation of the rotatable input mechanism; and in response to receiving the input corresponding to the rotation of the rotatable input mechanism, displaying a fifth affordance that, when selected, causes the electronic device to perform an action related to the existing physical activity tracking function.

         9 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the activity boundary alert includes a sixth affordance that is different from the first affordance, wherein the sixth affordance is displayed concurrently with the first affordance, and wherein the sixth affordance, when selected, initiates a process for initiating a physical activity function that is different from the existing physical activity tracking function.

         10 . A method, comprising:
 at an electronic device including a display and one or more sensors:
 detecting, via the one or more sensors, activity data, wherein the activity data is detected while an existing physical activity tracking function is active; and
 in response to detecting the activity data:
 in accordance with a determination that the activity data satisfies activity boundary alert criteria, displaying, via the display, an activity boundary alert, wherein the activity boundary alert includes a first affordance;
 in accordance with a determination that the activity data does not satisfy the activity boundary alert criteria, forgoing display of the activity boundary alert that includes the first affordance;

 while the first affordance is displayed, receiving an input corresponding to selection of the first affordance; and
 in response to receiving the input corresponding to selection of the first affordance:
 ending the existing physical activity tracking function; and
 storing activity data detected prior to receiving the input as a previous workout.

         11 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs configured to be executed by one or more processors of an electronic device with a display and one or more sensors, the one or more programs including instructions for:
 detecting, via the one or more sensors, activity data, wherein the activity data is detected while an existing physical activity tracking function is active; in response to detecting the activity data:
 in accordance with a determination that the activity data satisfies activity boundary alert criteria, displaying, via the display, an activity boundary alert, wherein the activity boundary alert includes a first affordance;
 in accordance with a determination that the activity data does not satisfy the activity boundary alert criteria, forgoing display of the activity boundary alert that includes the first affordance;
   while the first affordance is displayed, receiving an input corresponding to selection of the first affordance; and in response to receiving the input corresponding to selection of the first affordance:
 ending the existing physical activity tracking function; and
 storing activity data detected prior to receiving the input as a previous workout.
