Adjustable temperature control blanket

Abstract

An adjustable temperature control blanket, including a blanket body having a front surface and a back surface, and an opening through the blanket body from the front surface to the back surface.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An adjustable temperature control blanket, comprising:
 a blanket body having a front surface and a back surface; and   an opening through the blanket body from the front surface to the back surface.   
     
     
         2 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 1 , further comprising a flap attached to one of the front surface and the back surface,
 wherein the flap is disposed to overlap the opening through the blanket body.   
     
     
         3 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 1 , wherein the opening is bounded by a top edge and a bottom edge disposed in close proximity to each other to close the opening in a first state, and at least a portion of the top edge and the bottom edge are spaced apart from each other to open the opening in a second state, and
 wherein the top edge and the bottom edge are joined at a first side and a second side of the opening.   
     
     
         4 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 3 , further comprising a flap attached to one of the front surface and the back surface of the blanket body,
 wherein the flap is disposed to overlap the top edge and the bottom edge disposed in close proximity to each other, and   wherein a flap opening is configured to be in communication with the opening in the second state.   
     
     
         5 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 1 , wherein the blanket body comprises a top, a bottom, and two sides joining the top and the bottom, and
 wherein the opening comprises a horizontal opening extending in a direction from a first side of the two sides toward a second side thereof.   
     
     
         6 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 5 , further comprising a flap attached to one of the front surface and the back surface of the blanket body in the direction from the first side toward the second side,
 wherein the flap is disposed to overlap the opening through the blanket body.   
     
     
         7 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 5 , wherein the opening is disposed in a portion comprising a bottom third of the blanket body. 
     
     
         8 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 7 , wherein the opening comprises a plurality of openings, and
 wherein a portion of the plurality of openings are disposed outside of the bottom third of the blanket body.   
     
     
         9 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 1 , wherein the blanket body comprises a top, a bottom, and two sides joining the top and the bottom, and
 wherein the opening comprises a vertical opening extending in a direction from the top of the blanket body toward a bottom thereof.   
     
     
         10 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 9 , further comprising a flap attached to one of the front surface and the back surface in the direction from the top of the blanket body toward the bottom,
 wherein the flap is disposed to overlap the opening through the blanket body.   
     
     
         11 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 9 , wherein the opening further comprises a horizontal opening extending in a direction from a first side of the two sides toward a second side thereof. 
     
     
         12 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 1 ,
 wherein the opening comprises a plurality of openings.   
     
     
         13 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 12 , further comprising a plurality of flaps, each attached to one of the front surface and the back surface,
 wherein each of the plurality of flaps is disposed to overlap a corresponding opening through the blanket body of the plurality of openings.   
     
     
         14 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 1 , wherein the blanket body has a size corresponding to one of a throw blanket, a twin size bed blanket, a double size bed blanket, a full-size bed blanket, a queen size bed blanket, or a king size bed blanket. 
     
     
         15 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 1 , wherein the blanket body is made of one or more of a woven and a non-woven material comprising one or more of silk, linen, cotton, wool, polyester, Kevlar, and combinations thereof. 
     
     
         16 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 1 , wherein the opening is of a size to accommodate a user's limb and movement of the user's limb in an open state. 
     
     
         17 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 1 , wherein the opening comprises one or more of a slot, a slit, a curve, a linear section, an angle section, and a combination thereof. 
     
     
         18 . The adjustable temperature control blanket of  claim 1 , further comprising a fastener closing the opening with one or more of a zipper, a magnet, and VELCRO®.
