System and methods for improved meeting engagement

Abstract

In some embodiments, the systems and methods built in accordance with the present disclosure may analyze audience engagement with a presentation displayed during a live meeting and may provide feedback to a presenter during and/or after the presentation. In some embodiments, the provided feedback may include determining one or more metrics indicative of participant engagement levels. Participant engagement levels may then be used to adjust live meetings in real-time and/or after the live meeting has ended. A system may include one or more presenter computing devices, one or more participant computing devices and a server system including a data analytics module configured to determine metrics indicative of participant engagement levels.

We claim: 
     
         1 . A system comprising:
 a presenter computing device configured to display a presentation and generate presentation data;   a participant computing device configured to generate participant data comprising one or more participant reactions to a displayed presentation; and   a server system comprising one or more processors and a memory that includes instructions, that when executed by the one or more processors, causes the one or more processors to:   define one or more engagement objectives associated with a live meeting environment;   receive participant data from the participant computing device of the live meeting environment;   receive presentation data from the presenter computing device of the live meeting environment;   determine a key metric for the live meeting environment based on at least the one or more engagement objectives, the participant data, and received presentation data;   modify a stored presentation of the live meeting environment based on the key metric; and   update a platform to include the presentation.   
     
     
         2 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the server system automatically generates an interactive report based on the key metric; and wherein the interactive report includes a summary of participant engagement activity and a meeting score. 
     
     
         3 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the participant data comprises participant engagement data indicative of one or more of participant knowledge level or participant confidence level, and participant feedback. 
     
     
         4 . The system of  claim 1 , further comprising receiving participant feedback, and analyzing the participant feedback by an artificial intelligence algorithm. 
     
     
         5 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the presentation data comprises at least one of slides associated with the presentation, timing information for when each slide is pushed to a participant computing device, and polling questions. 
     
     
         6 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the key metric comprises at least one of participant engagement levels, participant engagement over time, meeting ratings, popularity of content, key words, total count of participants, top participants based on engagement levels, percentage of participants who engaged with content, percentage of highly engaged participants, total number of actions, actions by action types, response rates to polling questions, response rates to survey questions, percentage of correction questions, experience ratings, counts of actions over time, word cloud, engagement levels by slide, response graphs by questions, participant identification, and participant profiles. 
     
     
         7 . The system of  claim 4 , wherein a participant profile comprises at least one of a participant demographic, an indication of a type of content a participant responded to, or a percentage of questions the participant answered correctly. 
     
     
         8 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein modifying the stored presentation of the live meeting environment comprises altering at least one of slide formatting, slide order, slide content, presentation order, and presentation content. 
     
     
         9 . A computer-implemented method comprising:
 defining, by a server system, one or more engagement objectives associated with a live meeting environment;   receiving, by the server system, participant data from a participant computing device of the live meeting environment, a participant computing device configured to generate participant data comprising one or more participant reactions to a displayed presentation;   receiving, by the server system, presentation data from a presenter computing device of the live meeting environment, wherein the presenter computing device configured to display a presentation and generate presentation data;   determining, by the server system, a key metric for the live meeting environment based on at least the one or more engagement objectives, the participant data, and received presentation data;   modifying, by the server system, a stored presentation of the live meeting environment based on the key metric; and   updating, by the server system, a platform to include the presentation.   
     
     
         10 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 9 , wherein the server system automatically generates an interactive report based on the key metric; and wherein the interactive report includes a summary of participant engagement activity and a meeting score. 
     
     
         11 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 9 , wherein the participant data comprises participant engagement data indicative of one or more of participant knowledge level or participant confidence level, and participant feedback. 
     
     
         12 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 9 , comprising receiving participant feedback, and analyzing the participant feedback by an artificial intelligence algorithm. 
     
     
         13 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 9 , wherein the presentation data comprises at least one of slides associated with the presentation, timing information for when each slide is pushed to a participant computing device, and polling questions. 
     
     
         14 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 9 , wherein the key metric comprises at least one of participant engagement levels, participant engagement over time, meeting ratings, popularity of content, key words, total count of participants, top participants based on engagement levels, percentage of participants who engaged with content, percentage of highly engaged participants, total number of actions, actions by action types, response rates to polling questions, response rates to survey questions, percentage of correction questions, experience ratings, counts of actions over time, word cloud, engagement levels by slide, response graphs by questions, participant identification, and participant profiles. 
     
     
         15 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 14 , wherein a participant profiles comprise at least one of a participant demographic, an indication of the content a participant responded to, or the percentage of questions the participant answered correctly. 
     
     
         16 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 9 , wherein modifying the stored presentation of the live meeting environment comprises altering at least one of slide formatting, slide order, slide content, presentation order, and presentation content. 
     
     
         17 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions, that when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to implement the instructions for:
 defining, by a server system, one or more engagement objectives associated with a live meeting environment;   receiving, by the server system, participant data from a participant computing device of the live meeting environment, a participant computing device configured to generate participant data comprising one or more participant reactions to a displayed presentation;   receiving, by the server system, presentation data from a presenter computing device of the live meeting environment, wherein the presenter computing device configured to display a presentation and generate presentation data;   determining, by the server system, a key metric for the live meeting environment based on at least the one or more engagement objectives, the participant data, and received presentation data;   modifying, by the server system, a stored presentation of the live meeting environment based on the key metric; and   updating, by the server system, a platform to include the presentation.   
     
     
         18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of  claim 17 , wherein the server system automatically generates an interactive report based on the key metric; and wherein the interactive report includes a summary of participant engagement activity and a meeting score. 
     
     
         19 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of  claim 17 , wherein the participant data comprises participant engagement data indicative of one or more of participant knowledge level or participant confidence level, and participant feedback.

The non-transitory computer-readable medium of  claim 17 , wherein determining a key metrics for the live meeting environment further comprises, determining from participant data: one or more slide specific key metrics for a particular slide, determining one or more aggregate key metrics across a collection of slides, and comparing at least one of the one or more slide specific key metrics for a particular slide, and aggregate key metrics for across a collection of slides, with a benchmark.
