Abstract
A work assisting server 10 includes a first assisting process element 121 and a second assisting process element 122 and communicates with a plurality of facility cameras 30 when an operator OP remotely operates a work machine 40 while viewing a captured image displayed on an image output device 221. The first assisting process element 121 extracts, as candidates, the facility cameras 30 including the work machine 40 in imaging ranges. The second assisting process element 122 selects the facility camera 30 that is able to obtain the imaging range including an optimal direction or size on the basis of movement of the work machine 40 and causes the selected facility camera 30 to output a captured image to the image output device 221.

A work assisting server which communicates with a plurality of imaging devices and assists a work of a work machine when an operator remotely operates the work machine while viewing a captured image displayed on a display device, the work assisting server comprising:
a first assisting process element which extracts, as candidates, the imaging devices including the work machine in imaging ranges defined from preset viewing angles from among the plurality of imaging devices; and a second assisting process element which selects the imaging device that is able to obtain the imaging range including an optimal direction or size of the work machine based on movement of the work machine from among the candidates and causes the selected imaging device to provide an output to the display device.
2 . The work assisting server according to claim 1 , wherein the second assisting process element determines the movement of the work machine based on at least one of a position and a size of the work machine included in the captured image captured by the imaging device.
3 . The work assisting server according to claim 1 ef 4 , wherein the second assisting process element selects the imaging device that is able to capture a side surface image or a zoomed-out image of a side surface of the work machine during the movement of the work machine.
4 . The work assisting server according to claim 1 , wherein the display device displays two or more captured images of the work machine in different directions.
5 . A work assisting server which communicates with a plurality of imaging devices and assists a work of a work machine when an operator remotely operates the work machine while viewing a captured image displayed on a display device, the work assisting server comprising:
a first assisting process element which extracts, as candidates, the imaging devices including the work machine in imaging ranges defined from preset viewing angles from among the plurality of imaging devices; and a third assisting process element which selects the imaging device that is able to obtain an optimal imaging range to enable recognition of work content of the work machine based on the work content and causes the selected imaging device to provide an output to the display device.

The work assisting server according to claim 5 , wherein the third assisting process element selects the imaging device that is able to capture a front surface image or a side surface image of the work machine or a zoomed-in image of a tip attachment in a case in which the work machine is working.
7 . A method for selecting an imaging device which selects at least one of a plurality of imaging devices connected to a server, images a work of a work machine, and assists the work when an operator performs the work through a remote operation of the work machine while viewing a captured image displayed on a display device, the method comprising:
a first step of extracting, as candidates, the imaging devices including the work machine in imaging ranges defined from preset viewing angles from among the plurality of imaging devices; and a second step of selecting the imaging device that is able to obtain the imaging range including an optimal direction or size of the work machine from the candidates and causing the selected imaging device to provide an output to the display device in a case in which the work machine is determined to have moved.
8 . A method for selecting an imaging device which selects at least one of a plurality of imaging devices connected to a server, images a work of a work machine, and assists the work when an operator performs the work through a remote operation of the work machine while viewing a captured image displayed on a display device, the method comprising:
a first step of extracting, as candidates, the imaging devices including the work machine in imaging ranges defined from preset viewing angles from among the plurality of imaging devices; and a third step of selecting the imaging device that is able to obtain an optimal imaging range to enable recognition of work content of the work machine from among the candidates based on the work content and causing the selected imaging device to provide an output to the display device.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
