Hair Extension System
Abstract
A hair extension system is a system that enables users to make their own custom hair extensions in any style or design. The system serves as a kit that includes the tools and materials necessary for the user to make their own custom-made hair extension. The system also facilitates the attachment of the custom hair extensions to the user's head. The system may include a fabric backing, a plurality of adhesive strips, and at least one hair-attachment mechanism. The fabric backing supports the structure of the custom hair extension and increases the comfort of wearing the custom hair extension. The plurality of adhesive strips facilitates the making of the custom hair extension by enabling the attachment of hair wefts onto the fabric backing in a simple manner. The at least one hair-attachment mechanism secures the custom hair extension to the user's head so that the user can perform everyday activities.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A hair extension system comprising:
a fabric backing; a plurality of adhesive strips; at least one hair-attachment mechanism; the fabric backing comprising a first backing face and a second backing face; each of the plurality of adhesive strips being attached across the first backing face; the plurality of adhesive strips being positioned parallel to each other; the plurality of adhesive strips being distributed across the first backing face; and, the at least one hair-attachment mechanism being mounted onto the second backing face.
2 . The hair extension system as claimed in claim 1 comprising:
at least one hair weft;
the at least one hair weft comprising a plurality of hair strands, a hair-arranging band, and at least one fine threading;
each of the plurality of hair strands comprising a fixed strand end and a free strand end;
the hair-arranging band comprising a first band face and a second band face;
the plurality of hair strands being distributed along the first band face;
the fixed strand end of each of the plurality of hair strands being connected onto the first band face;
the fixed strand end for each of the plurality of hair strands being stitched onto the hair-arrangement band by the at least one fine threading; and,
the second band face being adhered onto a specific strip from the plurality of adhesive strips.
3 . The hair extension system as claimed in claim 2 comprising:
the at least one hair weft being a plurality of hair wefts;
the hair-arrangement band of each of the plurality of hair wefts being positioned parallel to each other; and,
the hair-arrangement band of each of the plurality of hair wefts being adhered onto a corresponding strip from the plurality of adhesive strips.
4 . The hair extension system as claimed in claim 2 comprising:
the at least one fine threading comprising a first fine threading and a second fine threading;
the first fine threading and the second fine threading being positioned along the hair-arrangement band; and,
the first fine threading and the second fine threading being positioned parallel and offset from each other.
5 . The hair extension system as claimed in claim 2 comprising:
a coating of sealant;
the coating of sealant being applied onto the fixed strand end for each of the plurality of hair strands and the at least one fine threading; and,
the coating of sealant being superimposed across the first band face.
6 . The hair extension system as claimed in claim 2 comprising:
the at least one hair-attachment mechanism comprising a hair loom and a plurality of beads;
the hair loom being attached onto the second backing face;
the plurality of beads being positioned offset from the fabric backing; and,
the plurality of beads being tethered to the hair loom by the plurality of hair strands.
7 . The hair extension system as claimed in claim 1 comprising:
a plurality of sealing strips; and,
each of the plurality of sealing strips being removably attached along a corresponding adhesive strip from the plurality of adhesive strips.
8 . The hair extension system as claimed in claim 1 comprising:
the at least one hair-attachment mechanism being a plurality of hair-attachment mechanisms; and,
the plurality of hair-attachment mechanisms being distributed across the second backing face.
9 . The hair extension system as claimed in claim 8 comprising:
the fabric backing further comprising a first lengthwise edge and a second lengthwise edge;
the plurality of hair-attachment mechanisms comprising a plurality of first mechanisms and a plurality of second mechanisms;
the plurality of first mechanisms being evenly distributed along the first lengthwise edge; and,
the plurality of second mechanisms being evenly distributed along the second lengthwise edge.
10 . The hair extension system as claimed in claim 8 , wherein each of the plurality of hair-attachment mechanisms is a hair clip.
11 . The hair extension system as claimed in claim 8 , wherein each of the plurality of hair-attachment mechanisms is a hair comb.
12 . The hair extension system as claimed in claim 8 , wherein each of the plurality of hair-attachment mechanisms is a bead.
13 . The hair extension system as claimed in claim 1 comprising:
a wire frame;
the fabric backing being positioned across the wire frame; and,
the wire frame being peripherally connected to the fabric backing.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
