Abstract

Automated systems and methods for implementing and managing the submission, quote, proposal and binding stages (i.e., placement process) for securing insurance coverage.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method of implementing and managing a placement process for obtaining insurance coverage, said method comprising steps of:
 electronically defining at least one product for a submission quote proposal;   capturing data for a set of risk attributes from at least one form or template;   electronically grouping and organizing the set of risk attributes such that the risk attributes are mapped to provide a mapped electronic form;   rendering, in a user interface on a display device, the mapped electronic form in at least one view;   electronically capturing the set of risk attributes, by a computing device, and saving the data with a unique identification in an electronic database in an application without saving the mapped electronic form; and   generating, by the computing device, at least one electronic submission request containing the mapped electronic form and requesting a quote for insuring at least one product based on the submission quote proposal; and   delivering, from the computing device, the at least one submission quote proposal to one or more organizations capable of insuring the one or more risks.
