Abstract
A peristaltic pump includes a rotor including a rotational shaft and configured to be rotated so as to deform a flexible tube, a housing including a head for receiving the flexible tube and a body for supporting the rotational shaft of the rotor, the rotational shaft being mounted to rotate freely relative to the support body, the receiving head and the support body for the housing being formed as one piece.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A peristaltic pump comprising:
a rotor comprising a rotational shaft and configured to be rotationally driven to deform a flexible tube, a housing comprising a receiving head for receiving the flexible tube and a support body for supporting the rotational shaft of the rotor, the rotational shaft being mounted to rotate freely relative to the support body, the receiving head and the support body of the housing being formed as one piece.
2 . The peristaltic pump according to claim 1 , wherein the housing comprises:
an assembly opening through which the rotor is assembled in the housing and, a deformable member configured to deform the assembly opening and/or a part of the rotor when assembling the rotor.
3 . The peristaltic pump according to claim 2 , wherein the deformable member comprises a ramp carried by the housing and configured to cooperate with the rotational shaft of the rotor to deform the assembly opening.
4 . The peristaltic pump according to claim 2 , wherein the deformable member comprise a recess configured to deform the assembly opening.
5 . The peristaltic pump according to claim 1 , wherein the receiving head comprises a cavity configured to receive the flexible tube and a stop configured to support the flexible tube laterally.
6 . The peristaltic pump according to claim 5 , wherein the receiving head and the support body are integral with each other, and the cavity of the receiving head comprises the stop, which is integral thereof.
7 . The peristaltic pump according to claim 5 , wherein the receiving head comprises two opposite walls integral with each other and forming two stops configured to support the flexible tube laterally.
8 . The peristaltic pump according to claim 1 , wherein the housing comprises an orifice for receiving the rotational shaft, preferably two orifices arranged on two opposite walls of the housing to form bearings.
9 . The peristaltic pump according to claim 1 , wherein the flexible tube comprises a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, wherein the housing comprises at least one attaching member for attaching the fluid inlet and/or the fluid outlet of the flexible tube.
10 . The peristaltic pump according to claim 9 , wherein the flexible tube comprises at least one complementary attachment member configured to cooperate with the at least one member of the housing, the at least one complementary attachment member and the flexible tube being formed as one piece.
11 . The peristaltic pump according to claim 10 , comprising at least one added connector configured to connect the flexible tube to a liquid product reservoir or a liquid product dispensing unit, the at least one added connector comprising the at least one complementary attachment member configured to cooperate with the at least one attachment member of the housing.
12 . A method for assembling a peristaltic pump according to claim 1 , comprising the following steps:
assembling the flexible tube on the rotor or in the receiving head of the housing, assembling the rotor in the housing, and connecting the rotational shaft of the rotor to a drive member.
13 . A liquid product dispensing device comprising:
a liquid product dispensing unit, a liquid product reservoir, and a peristaltic pump according to claim 1 , connecting the dispensing unit and the reservoir.
14 . The peristaltic pump according to claim 9 , wherein the at least one attachment member comprises one or more slots for receiving the fluid inlet and/or the fluid outlet.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
