Abstract
A footwear including an upper, a sole, and an insole attached to the sole. The upper has a lower end facing towards the sole. The upper is at least partly provided by a membrane and an outer layer. The membrane is waterproof and breathable. The upper has an upper top end and an upper lower end. The membrane is attached to the outer layer, which has a lower end. The membrane comprises a lower end of the membrane. The membrane of the upper is attached to the insole by a stitching. The stitching attaches the lower end of the membrane to the insole by stitches without perforating the lower end of the outer layer. A waterproof bottom sealing is at least partly comprised by a first adhesive pre-adhered to the lower end of the membrane and a second adhesive pre-adhered to the sole. The upper is adhered to the sole.

an upper (U); a sole (S); and an insole (IS) attached to the sole (S), wherein the upper (U) has a lower end facing towards the sole (S), wherein the upper (U) is at least partly provided by a membrane (MEM) and an outer layer (OL), wherein the membrane (MEM) is waterproof and breathable, wherein the upper has an upper top end (UTEND) and an upper lower end (ULEND), wherein the membrane (MEM) is attached to the outer layer (OL), wherein the outer layer (OL) comprises a lower end (LOL), wherein the membrane (MEM) comprises a lower end of the membrane (LMEM), wherein the membrane (MEM) of the upper (U) is attached to the insole (IS) by a stitching (STI), wherein the stitching (STI) attaches the lower end of the membrane (LMEM) to the insole (IS) by stitches without perforating the lower end of the outer layer (LOL), wherein a waterproof bottom sealing (WBS) is at least partly comprised by a first adhesive (FAD) pre-adhered to the lower end of the membrane (LMEM) and a second adhesive (SAD) pre-adhered to the sole (S), and wherein the upper is adhered to the sole (S).
2 . The footwear according to claim 1 , wherein the waterproof bottom sealing (WBS) is at least partly comprised by a first adhesive (FAD) and a second adhesive (SAD),
wherein the first adhesive (FAD) is pre-adhered to the lower end of the membrane (LMEM) and the outer layer lower end (LOL) and where the second adhesive (SAD) is pre-adhered to the sole (S), and wherein the upper is adhered to the sole (S).
3 . The footwear according to claim 2 , wherein the upper is adhered to the sole (S) at least partly by said first adhesive (FAD) and said second adhesive (SAD).
4 . The footwear according to claim 1 , wherein the membrane (MEM) is suspended to the outer layer (OL) between an anchoring adhesive (AA) and between an attachment arrangement (ATTA).
5 . The footwear according to claim 4 , wherein the membrane (MEM) is attached to the outer layer (OL) by means of said anchoring adhesive (AA) at an attachment surface area, wherein the attachment surface is less than 20% of the inner area of the outer layer.
6 . The footwear according to claim 1 , wherein the upper (U) comprises an upper top end (UTEND), an upper intermediate area (UINA) and an upper lower end (ULEND),
wherein the upper (U) is at least partly provided by a membrane (MEM) and an outer layer (OL), and wherein the membrane (MEM) is attached to the upper top end (UTEND) and the upper lower end (ULEND).
7 . The footwear according to claim 1 , wherein the outer layer of the upper (U) comprises an outer layer top end (TOL), an outer layer intermediate layer end (OIL), and an outer layer lower end (LOL), and
wherein the membrane (MEM) is attached to the outer layer lower end (LOL) and the outer layer top end (TOL).

11 . The footwear according to claim 6 , wherein the upper intermediate area (UINA) is a non-attachment area, and
wherein the non-attachment area is contiguous.

13 . The footwear according to claim 7 , wherein the membrane (MEM) is attached to the upper outer layer lower end (LOL) by means of an anchoring adhesive (AA), and the membrane (MEM) is attached to the upper top end (TOL) by means of an attachment arrangement (ATTA).

The footwear according to claim 2 , wherein at least a part of a stitching (STI) is sealed by a waterproof sealing comprising said first pre-adhered adhesive (FAD) and or a third pre-adhered adhesive (TAD) and where the sealing forms at least a part of the waterproof bottom sealing (WBS) sealing at least the insole (IS) and a lower part of the upper (U) of the footwear.
19 . The footwear according to claim 1 , wherein the waterproof bottom sealing (WBS) comprises a first adhesive (FAD) pre-adhered to the lower end of the membrane (LMEM), second adhesive (SAD) pre-adhered to the sole (S) and a third adhesive (TAD) provided at a lower end of the insole (IS).
20 . The footwear according to claim 1 , wherein the waterproof bottom sealing (WBS) comprises a first adhesive (FAD) pre-adhered to the lower end of the membrane (LMEM) and second adhesive (SAD) pre-adhered to the sole (S) and a waterproof sole (S).

24 . The footwear according to claim 1 , wherein a part of an adhesive by means of which the upper is cemented to the sole is pre-adhered to the outsole (OS) and pre-adhered to the lower end of the outer layer.

A method of manufacturing a footwear comprising an upper (U), a sole (S), and an insole (IS) attached to the sole (S), wherein the upper (U) is at least partly provided by a waterproof and breathable membrane layer (MEM) and an outer layer (OL), wherein the upper has an upper top end (UTEND) and an upper lower end (ULEND) wherein the waterproof and breathable membrane (MEM) is attached to the outer layer (OL), wherein the outer layer (OL) comprises a lower end (LOL), wherein the membrane (MEM) comprises a lower end of the membrane (LMEM), wherein the breathable membrane (MEM) of the upper (U) is attached to the insole (IS) by a stitching (STI), wherein the stitching (STI) attaches the lower end of the membrane (LMEM) to the insole (IS) by stitches without perforating the lower end of the outer layer (LOL), and
wherein the method comprises:
pre-adhering a first adhesive (FAD) pre-adhered to the lower end of the membrane (LMEM) and pre-adhering a second adhesive (SAD) to the sole (S), and
subsequently, cementing the upper to the sole by the sole (S) by activating first and second adhesive and forcing the membrane and the sole together by pressure.
97 . The method of manufacturing a footwear according to claim 96 , wherein the pre-adhering of the first adhesive and the second adhesive is performed at substantially the same time and subsequent to the stitching of the lower end of the membrane to the insole.

99 . The method of manufacturing a footwear according to claim 96 , wherein the stitching (STI) is sealed by a waterproof sealing forming at least a part of a waterproof bottom sealing (WBS) sealing at least the insole (IS) and the lower part of the upper (U) of the footwear, and
wherein the waterproof bottom sealing (WBS) is at least partly comprised by the first adhesive (FAD) pre-adhered to the lower end of the membrane (LMEM) and the second adhesive (SAD) pre-adhered to the sole (S).

The method of manufacturing a footwear according to claim 99 , wherein the waterproof bottom sealing (WBS) that is at least partly comprised by the first adhesive (FAD) pre-adhered to the lower end of the membrane (LMEM) and the second adhesive (SAD) pre-adhered to the sole (S), is further partly comprised of a third adhesive (TAD) adhered to the insole (IS).

102 . The method of manufacturing a footwear according to claim 1 , wherein the stitching of the insole (IS) to the lower end of the upper membrane (LMEM) is performed prior to lasting of the upper.

wherein marks (MA) provided by a feeding mechanism of a sewing machine during stitching to the insole (IS) has a lateral distance (MFD) which is less than 10 mm, and wherein the marks (MA) are provided on a side of the upper to which a sole has been attached or is to be attached.
