Abstract

Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and method for administrator-based navigating of a participant between rooms. The program and method provide, to a first of plural participants, a first user interface for navigating a virtual space comprising plural rooms, the first user interface allowing the first participant to move the plural participants among the plural rooms; provide, to a second participant, a second user interface for navigating the virtual space, the second user interface allowing the second participant to move among the plural rooms while disallowing to move other participants among the plural rooms; receive an indication of user input via the first user interface, to move the second participant from a first room to a second room; and provide, in response to receiving the indication, for switching the second participant from the first to second room.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . (canceled)

         2 . A method, comprising:
providing, to a first participant of plural participants in a virtual space, a first user interface allowing the first participant to move the plural participants among plural rooms of the virtual space; providing, to a second participant of the plural participants, a second user interface disallowing the second participant to the plural participants among the plural rooms; and providing, based on user input via the first user interface or the second user interface, for switching the second participant from a first room of the plural rooms to a second room of the plural rooms.

3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the second room is configured to allow the first participant to move the second participant out of the second room, and
wherein the second room is configured to disallow the second participant from selecting to move out of the second room.

4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising:
updating the second user interface to remove an interface element for allowing the second participant to select to move out of the second room.

5 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the first user interface is configured for an administrator to navigate the virtual space, and
wherein the second user interface is configured for a participant other than the administrator to navigate the virtual space.

6 . The method of claim 5 , further comprising:
designating, prior to providing the first user interface, the first participant as the administrator; and designating, prior to providing the second user interface, the second participant as the participant other than the administrator.

7 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the first user interface includes a room list interface which lists the plural rooms and which provides for the first participant to move the plural participants among the plural rooms.

8 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising:
providing, for each of plural participants, display of a participant video element which corresponds to the participant and which includes a video feed for the participant.

         9 . A system comprising:
a processor; and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, configure the processor to perform operations comprising: providing, to a first participant of plural participants in a virtual space, a first user interface allowing the first participant to move the plural participants among plural rooms of the virtual space; providing, to a second participant of the plural participants, a second user interface disallowing the second participant to the plural participants among the plural rooms; and providing, based on user input via the first user interface or the second user interface, for switching the second participant from a first room of the plural rooms to a second room of the plural rooms.

10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the second room is configured to allow the first participant to move the second participant out of the second room, and
wherein the second room is configured to disallow the second participant from selecting to move out of the second room.

11 . The system of claim 10 , the operations further comprising:
updating the second user interface to remove an interface element for allowing the second participant to select to move out of the second room.

12 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the first user interface is configured for an administrator to navigate the virtual space, and
wherein the second user interface is configured for a participant other than the administrator to navigate the virtual space.

13 . The system of claim 12 , the operations further comprising:
designating, prior to providing the first user interface, the first participant as the administrator; and designating, prior to providing the second user interface, the second participant as the participant other than the administrator.

14 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the first user interface includes a room list interface which lists the plural rooms and which provides for the first participant to move the plural participants among the plural rooms.

15 . The system of claim 9 , the operations further comprising:
providing, for each of plural participants, display of a participant video element which corresponds to the participant and which includes a video feed for the participant.

16 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, the computer-readable storage medium including instructions that when executed by a computer, cause the computer to perform operations comprising:
providing, to a first participant of plural participants in a virtual space, a first user interface allowing the first participant to move the plural participants among plural rooms of the virtual space; providing, to a second participant of the plural participants, a second user interface disallowing the second participant to the plural participants among the plural rooms; and providing, based on user input via the first user interface or the second user interface, for switching the second participant from a first room of the plural rooms to a second room of the plural rooms.

17 . The computer-readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the second room is configured to allow the first participant to move the second participant out of the second room, and
wherein the second room is configured to disallow the second participant from selecting to move out of the second room.

18 . The computer-readable medium of claim 17 , the operations further comprising:
updating the second user interface to remove an interface element for allowing the second participant to select to move out of the second room.

19 . The computer-readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the first user interface is configured for an administrator to navigate the virtual space, and
wherein the second user interface is configured for a participant other than the administrator to navigate the virtual space.

20 . The computer-readable medium of claim 19 , the operations further comprising:
designating, prior to providing the first user interface, the first participant as the administrator; and designating, prior to providing the second user interface, the second participant as the participant other than the administrator.
