Claims

Abstract

A heat exchanger may include a collector and a connecting pipe. The collector may include at least one insertion opening. The connecting pipe may be inserted in the at least one insertion opening. The connecting pipe may include at least one bulge projecting radially to the outside. The at least one bulge may form a stop of the connecting pipe in an insertion direction in the at least one insertion opening. The at least one bulge may indicate a predefined angle-of-rotation position of the connecting pipe in the at least one insertion opening.

1 . A heat exchanger, comprising:
 a collector including at least one insertion opening; and   a connecting pipe inserted in the at least one insertion opening;   wherein the connecting pipe includes at least one bulge projecting radially to an outside, such that the at least one bulge forms a stop of the connecting pipe in an insertion direction in the at least one insertion opening and indicates a predefined angle-of-rotation position of the connecting pipe in the at least one insertion opening.   
     
     
         2 . The heat exchanger according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 the at least one insertion opening includes a marking; and   when the at least one bulge of the connecting pipe is aligned in an axial direction with the marking, the marking indicates the predefined angle-of-rotation position of the connecting pipe in the at least one insertion opening.   
     
     
         3 . The heat exchanger according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 the insertion opening includes a recess formed complementarily to the at least one bulge; and   when the connecting pipe is correctly installed in the at least one insertion opening, the at least one bulge engages the recess and positions the connecting pipe in the predefined angle-of-rotation position in the at least one insertion opening.   
     
     
         4 . The heat exchanger according to  claim 2 , further comprising a plurality of connecting pipes including the connecting pipe, wherein:
 the at least one insertion opening includes at least two insertion openings, into which an associated connecting pipe of the plurality of connecting pipes is insertable; and   the at least one bulges of a first connecting pipe of the plurality of connecting pipes and the at least one bulge of a second connecting pipe of the plurality of connecting pipes are at least one of (i) arranged in different locations and (ii) different sizes.   
     
     
         5 . The heat exchanger according to  claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of tubes and a plurality of heat exchanger elements, wherein:
 the collector further includes two openings oriented parallel to the at least one insertion opening;   a tubes of the plurality of tubes is tightly incorporated in each of the two openings; and   the plurality of heat exchanger elements are arranged between the plurality of tubes.   
     
     
         6 . The heat exchanger according to  claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of flat tubes and a plurality of corrugated fins, wherein:
 the collector further includes two passages oriented parallel to the at least one insertion opening;   a flat tubes of the plurality of flat tubes is tightly incorporated in each of the two passages; and   the plurality of corrugated fins are arranged between the plurality of flat tubes.   
     
     
         7 . The heat exchanger according to  claim 5 , wherein the connecting pipe in an installed state does not include any bulge directed in a direction of at least one of an adjacent tube of the plurality of tubes and an adjacent heat exchanger element of the plurality of heat exchanger elements. 
     
     
         8 . The heat exchanger according to  claim 1 , wherein the collector, on a longitudinal end side, is closed off by at least one blade inserted into at least one further insertion opening of the collector. 
     
     
         9 . The heat exchanger according to  claim 5 , wherein:
 the collector, on a longitudinal end side, is closed off by at least one blade inserted into at least one further insertion opening of the collector; and   the collector, the plurality of tubes, the plurality of heat exchanger elements, and the at least one blade are at least one of soldered and bonded to one another.   
     
     
         10 . An internal combustion engine, a fuel cell, or an air-conditioning system comprising a heat exchanger including:
 a collector including at least one insertion opening; and   a connecting pipe inserted in the at least one insertion opening;   wherein the connecting pipe includes at least one bulge projecting radially to an outside such that the at least one bulge forms a stop of the connecting pipe in an insertion direction in the at least one insertion opening and indicates a predefined angle-of-rotation position of the connecting pipe in the at least one insertion opening.   
     
     
         11 . The internal combustion engine, the fuel cell, or the air-conditioning system of  claim 10 , wherein:
 the at least one insertion opening includes a marking; and   when the at least one bulge of the connecting pipe is aligned in an axial direction with the marking, the marking indicates the predefined angle-of-rotation position of the connecting pipe in the at least one insertion opening.   
     
     
         12 . The internal combustion engine, the fuel cell, or the air-conditioning system of  claim 10 , wherein:
 the at least one insertion opening incudes a recess formed complimentarily to the at least one bulge; and   when the connecting pipe is correctly installed in the at least one insertion opening, the at least one bulge engages the recess and positions the connecting pipe in the predefined angle-of-rotation position in the at least one insertion opening.   
     
     
         13 . The internal combustion engine, the fuel cell, or the air-conditioning system of  claim 10 , further comprising a plurality of connecting pipes including the connecting pipe, wherein:
 the at least one insertion opening includes at least two insertion openings into which an associated connecting pipe of the plurality of connecting pipes is insertable; and   the at least one bulge of the first connecting pipe of the plurality of connecting pipes and the at least one bulge of a second connecting pipe of the plurality of connecting pipes are at least one of (i) arranged in different locations and (ii) different sizes.   
     
     
         14 . A heat exchanger, comprising:
 a collector including a plurality of insertion openings that each have at least one marking;   a plurality of connecting pipes that are each inserted in an associated insertion opening of the plurality of insertion openings; and   wherein the plurality of connecting pipes each include at least one bulge projecting radially outward therefrom, the at least one bulge (i) contacting the collector and restricting further insertion of the respective connecting pipe into the associated insertion opening and (ii) arranged to align with the at least one marking of the associated insertion opening relative to an axial direction when the respective collecting pipe is disposed in the associated insertion opening at a predefined angle-of-rotation position.   
     
     
         15 . The heat exchanger according to  claim 14 , wherein:
 the plurality of insertion openings each further include at least one recess formed complementarily to the at least one bulge; and   the at least one bulge engages the at least one recess and positions the respective connecting pipe within the associated insertion opening at the predefined angle-of-rotation position when the respective connecting pipe is correctly installed.   
     
     
         16 . The heat exchanger according to  claim 14 , further comprising a plurality of tubes and a plurality of heat exchanger elements, wherein:
 the collector further includes two openings oriented parallel to the plurality of insertion openings;   a tube of the plurality of tubes is tightly arranged in each of the two openings; and   the plurality of heat exchanger elements are arranged between the plurality of tubes.   
     
     
         17 . The heat exchanger according to  claim 16 , wherein:
 the plurality of tubes are configured as a plurality of flat tubes; and   the plurality of heat exchanger elements are configured as a plurality of corrugated fins.   
     
     
         18 . The heat exchanger according to  claim 14 , wherein the at least one bulge does not project from the respective connecting pipe toward at least one of (i) an adjacent tube of the plurality of tubes and (ii) an adjacent heat exchanger element of the plurality of heat exchanger elements when the respective connecting pipe is disposed in the associated insertion opening at the predefined angle-of-rotation position. 
     
     
         19 . The heat exchanger according to  claim 14 , further comprising at least one blade, wherein:
 the collector further includes at least one further insertion opening disposed at a longitudinal end side; and   the at least one blade is arranged in the at least one further insertion opening and closes off the longitudinal end side of the collector.   
     
     
         20 . The heat exchanger according to  claim 14 , wherein:
 the collector further includes a plurality of collars projecting therefrom; and   the plurality of collars each extend around a perimeter of one of the plurality of insertion openings.
