Multipurpose garment configuration and methods

Abstract

A garment is disclosed including a top portion, a front leg portion attached to the top portion, a saddle attached at a first end to the front leg portion, a rear leg portion attached to a second end of the saddle, and a waist portion attached to the rear leg portion opposite the saddle.

1 . A garment comprising:
 a top portion;   a front leg portion attached to the top portion;   a saddle attached at a first end to the front leg portion;   a rear leg portion attached to a second end of the saddle; and   a waist portion attached to the rear leg portion opposite the saddle.   
     
     
         2 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the front leg portion is connected to the rear leg portion along a full inseam extending from the saddle portion. 
     
     
         3 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the front leg portion is connected to the rear leg portion at an ankle portion of the garment. 
     
     
         4 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the front leg portion includes a pocket. 
     
     
         5 . The garment of  claim 4 , wherein the rear leg portion includes an opening that aligns with the pocket when the rear leg portion is secured by the waist portion. 
     
     
         6 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the rear leg portion includes a pocket. 
     
     
         7 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the rear leg portion includes two layers. 
     
     
         8 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the waist portion is asymmetrical. 
     
     
         9 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the waist portion includes a securing mechanism configured to secure the rear leg portion along a center line of the front leg portion. 
     
     
         10 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the waist portion includes a securing mechanism configured to secure the rear leg portion off center with respect to a center line of the front leg portion. 
     
     
         11 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the waist portion is configured to secure the rear leg portion. 
     
     
         12 . The garment of  claim 11 , wherein the waist portion is configured to secure the rear leg portion using a fastener. 
     
     
         13 . The garment of  claim 1 , further comprising a pocket attached to the waist portion. 
     
     
         14 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the top portion and the front leg portion are formed from a single piece of material. 
     
     
         15 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the front leg portion and the rear leg portion define an opening extending upward from an ankle portion of the garment. 
     
     
         16 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the top portion includes a zipper extending from the lower back upward. 
     
     
         17 . A method of using a garment, the garment including a top portion, a front leg portion attached to the top portion, a saddle attached to a first end of the front leg portion, a rear leg portion attached to a second end of the saddle, and a waist portion attached to the rear leg portion opposite the saddle, the method comprising:
 applying the top portion to an upper body of a person;   applying the front leg portion to a lower body of the person;   pulling the rear leg portion and saddle portion between two legs of the person;   wrapping the waist portion around a waist of the person; and   securing the waist portion in front of the person.   
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 17 , further comprising pulling the rear leg portion and saddle portion through the lower body of the person from in front of the person to behind the person. 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 17 , wherein the front leg portion extends at least partially around the waist of the person. 
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 17 , wherein securing the waist portion in front of the person comprises securing the waist portion using a fastener.
