Facilitating an interference leakage dependent resource reservation protocol in advanced networks
Abstract
Facilitating an interference leakage dependent resource reservation protocol in advanced networks (e.g., 5G, 6G, and beyond) is provided herein. Operations of a method can comprise defining, by a system comprising a memory and a processor, a resource reservation procedure that associates respective amounts of reserved resources available for a mobile device based on a transmission beam width and a transmission power level of the mobile device. The method also can comprise selecting, by the system, an amount of reserved resources from the respective amounts of reserved resources available based on the transmission beam width and the transmission power level of the mobile device.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method, comprising:
determining, by a user equipment comprising a processor, an interference leakage of the user equipment; setting, by the user equipment, parameters of a resource reservation based on the interference leakage and a reservation resource allocation procedure; and sending, by the user equipment, to network equipment, the resource reservation to allocate resources to the user equipment according to the parameters.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the interference leakage is determined based on a transmission beam width of the user equipment.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the interference leakage is determined based on a transmission power level of the user equipment.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the parameters comprise an amount of the resources to reserve for the user equipment.
5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the reservation resource allocation procedure increases the amount of the resources to reserve as the interference leakage decreases.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the parameters comprise a defined amount of time to reserve the resources for the user equipment.
7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the reservation resource allocation procedure increases the defined amount of time as the interference leakage decreases.
8 . A user equipment, comprising:
a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations, comprising:
determining an interference leakage of the user equipment;
establishing a parameter value of a resource reservation based on the interference leakage and a reservation resource allocation procedure; and
broadcasting, via a wireless network, the resource reservation to allocate resources to the user equipment according to the parameter value.
9 . The user equipment of claim 8 , wherein the interference leakage is based on a transmission beam width of the user equipment.
10 . The user equipment of claim 8 , wherein the interference leakage is based on a transmission power level of the user equipment.
11 . The user equipment of claim 8 , wherein the parameter value is representative of an amount of the resources to reserve for the user equipment.
12 . The user equipment of claim 11 , wherein the reservation resource allocation procedure increases the amount of the resources to reserve as the interference leakage decreases.
13 . The user equipment of claim 8 , wherein the parameter value is representative of a defined amount of time to reserve the resources for the user equipment.
14 . The user equipment of claim 13 , wherein the reservation resource allocation procedure increases the defined amount of time as the interference leakage decreases.
15 . A non-transitory machine-readable medium, comprising executable instructions that, when executed by a processor of a mobile device, facilitate performance of operations, comprising:
determining an interference leakage of the mobile device; defining attributes of a resource reservation based on the interference leakage and a reservation resource allocation procedure; and executing the resource reservation to allocate resources for the mobile device according to the attributes.
16 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the interference leakage is based on at least one of a transmission beam width of the mobile device or a transmission power level of the mobile device.
17 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the attributes comprise an amount of the resources to reserve for the mobile device.
18 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 17 , wherein the reservation resource allocation procedure increases the amount of the resources to reserve as the interference leakage decreases.
19 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the attributes comprise a defined amount of time to reserve the resources for the mobile device.
20 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 19 , wherein the reservation resource allocation procedure increases the defined amount of time as the interference leakage decreases.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
