Interactive Food Tray

Abstract

The present application discloses an interactive food tray that includes a food compartment having an interactive surface configured to couple with one or more modules. The one or more modules are configured to at least partially provide a non-food-based function.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An interactive food tray comprising:
 a food compartment;   an interactive surface, wherein the interactive surface is coupled to the food compartment; and   a module, wherein the module is configured to at least partially provide a non-food-based function.   
     
     
         2 . The interactive food tray of  claim 1 , wherein the food compartment includes at least one closeable compartment. 
     
     
         3 . The interactive food tray of  claim 1 , wherein the interactive surface includes a module attachment area configured to couple with one or more modules. 
     
     
         4 . The interactive food tray of  claim 1 , wherein the module is a stationary ornamental feature, wherein a foundation of the stationary ornamental feature is substantially fixed on a surface of the interactive surface. 
     
     
         5 . The interactive food tray of  claim 4 , wherein the stationary ornamental feature includes a movable component. 
     
     
         6 . The interactive food tray of  claim 4 , wherein the stationary ornamental feature includes a light. 
     
     
         7 . The interactive food tray of  claim 4 , wherein the stationary ornamental feature includes a speaker. 
     
     
         8 . The interactive food tray of  claim 4 , wherein the stationary ornamental feature includes a communication unit. 
     
     
         9 . The interactive food tray of  claim 1 , wherein the module is a movable ornamental feature, wherein the moveable ornamental feature is operatively coupled to the interactive food tray. 
     
     
         10 . The interactive food tray of  claim 9 , wherein the movable ornamental feature includes a movable component. 
     
     
         11 . The interactive food tray of  claim 9 , wherein the movable ornamental feature includes a light. 
     
     
         12 . The interactive food tray of  claim 9 , wherein the movable ornamental feature includes a speaker. 
     
     
         13 . The interactive food tray of  claim 9 , wherein the movable ornamental feature includes a communication unit. 
     
     
         14 . The interactive food tray of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a computer processor;   a communication unit;   a memory; and   a display, wherein the display is configured to display a graphical user interface.   
     
     
         15 . The interactive food tray of  claim 14 , further comprising a speaker and a motor. 
     
     
         16 . The interactive food tray of  claim 14 , further comprising a communications fabric, wherein the communications fabric provides communications between the computer processor, the communication unit, the memory, and one or more input/output devices.
