Server system

Abstract

A server system includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire a print setting from a different server system, and a transmission unit configured to transmit, to an image forming apparatus, print data in which a different print setting has been appended to the print setting acquired by the acquisition unit.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A server system comprising:
 one or more processors configured to:
 receive a print job including a print setting from a different server system; and 
 transmit, to an image forming apparatus, the print job to which another print setting different from the received print setting has been appended. 
   
     
     
         2 . The server system according to  claim 1 , wherein the print job received from the server system includes image data. 
     
     
         3 . The server system according to  claim 1 , wherein the different server system receives the print job from an information processing apparatus. 
     
     
         4 . The server system according to  claim 1 , wherein said another print setting is a print setting that is not able to be set by the information processing apparatus. 
     
     
         5 . The server system according to  claim 1 , wherein said another print setting is registered with the server system by a user. 
     
     
         6 . The server system according to  claim 1 , wherein said another print setting is not included in the received print job. 
     
     
         7 . A server system comprising:
 one or more processors configured to:
 receive a print job including a print setting from a different server system; and 
 transmit, to an image forming apparatus, the print job to which another print setting changed from the received print setting has been appended. 
   
     
     
         8 . The server system according to  claim 7 , wherein the print job received from the server system includes image data and the print setting. 
     
     
         9 . The server system according to  claim 7 , wherein the different server system receives the print job from an information processing apparatus. 
     
     
         10 . The server system according to  claim 7 , wherein said another print setting is a print setting that is not able to be set by the information processing apparatus. 
     
     
         11 . The server system according to  claim 7 , wherein said another print setting is registered with the server system by a user. 
     
     
         12 . The server system according to  claim 7 , wherein said another print setting is not included in the received print job. 
     
     
         13 . A method for controlling a server system comprising:
 receiving a print job including a print setting from a different server system; and   transmitting, to an image forming apparatus, the print job to which another print setting changed from the received print setting has been appended.   
     
     
         14 . The method according to  claim 13 , wherein the print job received from the server system includes image data. 
     
     
         15 . The method according to  claim 13 , wherein the wherein the different server system receives the print job from an information processing apparatus. 
     
     
         16 . The method according to  claim 13 , wherein said another print setting is a print setting that is not able to be set by the information processing apparatus. 
     
     
         17 . The method according to  claim 13 , wherein said another print setting is registered with the server system by a user. 
     
     
         18 . The method according to  claim 13 , wherein said another print setting is not included in the received print job. 
     
     
         19 . A server system that receives a print job from a different server system and transmits the received print job including a print setting and image data to an image forming apparatus, the sever system comprising:
 one or more processors configured to:
 register another print setting; 
 change the print setting included in the received print job to the registered another print setting; and 
 transmit the print job including the registered another print setting and the image data to the image forming apparatus. 
   
     
     
         20 . The server system according to  claim 19 , wherein the print job transmitted to the image forming apparatus does not include the print setting.
