Abstract

A system and method for playing a game directed towards fostering novel concepts and products. Players take predetermined concepts and combine the concepts to evoke an idea that will be used for a pitch. The pitch is then discussed and the players determine which pitches seem promising and valid.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method for playing an entrepreneurial game comprising:
 providing cards with at least three different types of cards, wherein a first type of the three different types of cards indicates a product, wherein a second type of the three different types of cards indicates an asset, wherein a third type of the three different types of cards indicates a modifier;   distributing the cards to at least two players, wherein each of the at least two players receives at least one of the first type of the three different types of cards and at least one of the third type of the three different types of cards;   wherein each of the at least two players creates a pitch using the at least one of the first type of the three different types of cards and at least one of the third type of the three different types of cards;   determining if created pitches are valid; and   using valid created pitches to determine which of the at least two players wins the entrepreneurial game.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising accumulating more than one of the second type of the three different cards to acquire a predetermined number of points. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising a board upon which the at least two players move tokens. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising a fourth type of card, wherein the fourth type of card indicates a fate. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the at least two players determines if created pitches are valid 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 5 , wherein determining if created pitches are valid is part of a challenge process by at least one of the two players. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 5 , wherein determining if created pitches are valid is determined using a search to see if a product of the created pitch is sold online. 
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the first type of the three different types of cards indicates a product selected from a group comprising kitchen products. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the first type of the three different types of cards indicates a product selected from a group comprising Christmas products. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the valid created pitches is uploaded online to a web service adapted to file for intellectual property. 
     
     
         11 . A method for playing a game comprising:
 providing a plurality of cards, wherein the plurality of cards has a plurality of product cards and a plurality of modifier cards, wherein at least some of the plurality of product cards lists a type of product, wherein at least some of the plurality of modifier cards lists adjectives;   distributing some of the plurality of cards to a plurality of players, wherein each of the plurality of players receives at least one product card and at least one modifier card;   wherein each of the plurality of players creates a pitch using distributed cards; and   using created pitches to determine which of the plurality of players wins the game.   
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein the plurality of cards further comprises a plurality of asset cards. 
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 12 , wherein a round of the game ends when a predetermined number of points is obtained through the acquisition of some of the plurality of asset cards. 
     
     
         14 . The method of  claim 11 , further comprising a board upon which the plurality of players move tokens. 
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein the plurality of cards further comprises a plurality of fate cards. 
     
     
         16 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein at least one of the plurality of players determines if created pitches are valid 
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 16 , wherein determining if created pitches are valid is part of a challenge process by at least one of the plurality of players. 
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 16 , wherein determining if created pitches are valid is determined using a search to see if a product of the created pitch is sold online. 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein at least some of the plurality of product cards indicate a product selected from a group comprising kitchen products. 
     
     
         20 . A system for playing a game comprising:
 a board comprising a plurality of areas having monetary values printed thereon;   a plurality of cards to be used with the board, wherein at least some of the plurality of cards are product cards, at least some of the plurality of cards are modifier cards, at least some of the plurality of cards are asset cards, and at least some of the plurality of cards are fate cards;   wherein at least some of the plurality of product cards lists a type of product, wherein at least some of the plurality of modifier cards lists adjectives; wherein at least some of the plurality of asset cards lists items useful for obtaining intellectual property;
 wherein the board and the plurality of cards are adapted to have the plurality of cards be distributed to a plurality of players, wherein each of the plurality of players receives at least one product and at least one modifier card; 
 wherein each of the plurality of players creates a pitch using distributed cards; and 
 created pitches are used to determine which of the plurality of players wins the game.
