Claims

Abstract

An ablation device comprise an ablation element and an immobilizer mechanism positioned distal to the ablation element. The immobilizer mechanism comprises a first portion configured to anchor the ablation device; and a second portion configured to slide coaxially within the ablation element. The ablation element is moveable in relation to the first portion of the immobilizer. The ablation device comprises a body and the ablation element is coupled to the body.

1 . An ablation device comprising:
 an ablation element;   an immobilizer mechanism positioned distal to the ablation element, the immobilizer mechanism comprising:
 a first portion configured to anchor the ablation device; and 
 a second portion configured to slide coaxially within the ablation element; 
   wherein the ablation element is moveable in relation to the first portion of the immobilizer; and   wherein the ablation device comprises a body and the ablation element is coupled to the body.   
     
     
         2 . An ablation device comprising:
 multiple ablation elements;   an immobilizer mechanism positioned distal to the ablation element, the immobilizer mechanism comprising:
 a first portion configured to anchor the ablation device, and 
 a second portion configured to slide coaxially within the ablation elements; and 
   a control system;   wherein:
 the ablation elements are moveable in relation to the first portion of the immobilizer, 
 wherein the ablation device comprises a body and the ablation element is coupled to the body 
 the control system is operably coupled to the ablation elements and configured to control energy delivery from each ablation element.
