Abstract

A system, method, and computer program product are disclosed for electronic correspondence generation based on user segment classification. An example system classifies respective user identifiers associated with a plurality of user devices into a plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using user segmentation criteria for the respective user identifiers and communication preference data for one or more electronic correspondences transmitted between a server system and the plurality of user devices. In response to identification of a triggering event associated with a user segment from the plurality of user segments, the example system also generates an electronic correspondence based on the communication preference data and transmits the electronic correspondence to one or more user devices associated with the user segment.

         61 . A system, comprising one or more computers and one or more storage devices storing instructions that are operable, when executed by the one or more computers, to cause the one or more computers to:
 transmit one or more electronic correspondences between a server system and a plurality of user devices;   determine, based on the one or more electronic correspondences transmitted between the server system and the plurality of user devices, communication preference data indicative of a mode of communication for the one or more electronic correspondences;   classify respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices into a plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using user segmentation criteria for the respective user identifiers and the communication preference data for the one or more electronic correspondences transmitted between the server system and the plurality of user devices; and   in response to identification of a triggering event associated with a user segment from the plurality of user segments, generate an electronic correspondence based on the communication preference data and transmit the electronic correspondence to one or more user devices associated with the user segment.   
     
     
         62 . The system of  claim 61 , wherein the one or more storage devices store instructions that are operable, when executed by the one or more computers, to further cause the one or more computers to:
 determine, based on the one or more electronic correspondences transmitted between the server system and the plurality of user devices, device data indicative of a type of user device for respective user devices from the plurality of user devices; and   classify the respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices into the plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using the device data.   
     
     
         63 . The system of  claim 61 , wherein the one or more storage devices store instructions that are operable, when executed by the one or more computers, to further cause the one or more computers to:
 determine, based on the one or more electronic correspondences transmitted between the server system and the plurality of user devices, device identification data indicative of a network address related to respective user devices from the plurality of user devices; and   classify the respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices into the plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using the device identification data.   
     
     
         64 . The system of  claim 61 , wherein the one or more storage devices store instructions that are operable, when executed by the one or more computers, to further cause the one or more computers to:
 determine user profile data for the respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices; and   classify the respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices into the plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using the user profile data.   
     
     
         65 . The system of  claim 61 , wherein the one or more storage devices store instructions that are operable, when executed by the one or more computers, to further cause the one or more computers to:
 determine location data associated with the plurality of user devices; and   classify the respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices into the plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using the location data.   
     
     
         66 . The system of  claim 61 , wherein the one or more storage devices store instructions that are operable, when executed by the one or more computers, to further cause the one or more computers to:
 determine, based on the one or more electronic correspondences transmitted between the server system and the plurality of user devices, collaboration history data indicative of a history of collaboration of respective user devices from the plurality of user devices with respect to the server system; and   classify the respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices into the plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using the collaboration history data.   
     
     
         67 . The system of  claim 61 , wherein the triggering event is a machine learning triggering event associated with a machine learning model, and wherein the one or more storage devices store instructions that are operable, when executed by the one or more computers, to further cause the one or more computers to:
 in response to identification of the machine learning triggering event, generate the electronic correspondence based on the communication preference data and transmit the electronic correspondence to the one or more user devices associated with the user segment.   
     
     
         68 . The system of  claim 61 , wherein the triggering event is a calendar triggering event associated with a defined time, and wherein the one or more storage devices store instructions that are operable, when executed by the one or more computers, to further cause the one or more computers to:
 in response to identification of the calendar triggering event, generate the electronic correspondence based on the communication preference data and transmit the electronic correspondence to the one or more user devices associated with the user segment.   
     
     
         69 . The system of  claim 61 , wherein the triggering event is a hyperlink triggering event associated with a hyperlink from a set of monitored hyperlinks, and wherein the one or more storage devices store instructions that are operable, when executed by the one or more computers, to further cause the one or more computers to:
 in response to identification of the hyperlink triggering event, generate the electronic correspondence based on the communication preference data and transmit the electronic correspondence to the one or more user devices associated with the user segment.   
     
     
         70 . A computer-implemented method, comprising:
 transmitting, by a computing device comprising a processor, one or more electronic correspondences between a server system and a plurality of user devices;   determining, by the computing device and based on the one or more electronic correspondences transmitted between the server system and the plurality of user devices, communication preference data indicative of a mode of communication for the one or more electronic correspondences;   classifying, by the computing device, respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices into a plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using user segmentation criteria for the respective user identifiers and the communication preference data for the one or more electronic correspondences transmitted between the server system and the plurality of user devices; and   in response to identification of a triggering event associated with a user segment from the plurality of user segments, generating, by the computing device, an electronic correspondence based on the communication preference data and transmit the electronic correspondence to one or more user devices associated with the user segment.   
     
     
         71 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 70 , further comprising:
 determining, by the computing device and based on the one or more electronic correspondences transmitted between the server system and the plurality of user devices, device data indicative of a type of user device for respective user devices from the plurality of user devices, and   the classifying the respective user identifiers comprising classifying the respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices into the plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using the device data.   
     
     
         72 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 70 , further comprising:
 determining, by the computing device and based on the one or more electronic correspondences transmitted between the server system and the plurality of user devices, device identification data indicative of a network address related to respective user devices from the plurality of user devices, and   the classifying the respective user identifiers comprising classifying the respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices into the plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using the device identification data.   
     
     
         73 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 70 , further comprising:
 determining, by the computing device, user profile data for the respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices, and   the classifying the respective user identifiers comprising classifying the respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices into the plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using the user profile data.   
     
     
         74 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 70 , further comprising:
 determining, by the computing device, location data associated with the plurality of user devices, and   the classifying the respective user identifiers comprising classifying the respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices into the plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using the location data.   
     
     
         75 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 70 , further comprising:
 determining, by the computing device and based on the one or more electronic correspondences transmitted between the server system and the plurality of user devices, collaboration history data indicative of a history of collaboration of respective user devices from the plurality of user devices with respect to the server system, and   the classifying the respective user identifiers comprising classifying the respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices into the plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using the collaboration history data.   
     
     
         76 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 70 , wherein the triggering event is a machine learning triggering event associated with a machine learning model, and the computer-implemented method further comprising:
 in response to identification of the machine learning triggering event, generating, by the computing device, the electronic correspondence based on the communication preference data and transmit the electronic correspondence to the one or more user devices associated with the user segment.   
     
     
         77 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 70 , wherein the triggering event is a hyperlink triggering event associated with a hyperlink from a set of monitored hyperlinks, and the computer-implemented method further comprising:
 in response to identification of the hyperlink triggering event, generating, by the computing device, the electronic correspondence based on the communication preference data and transmit the electronic correspondence to the one or more user devices associated with the user segment.   
     
     
         78 . A computer program product, stored on a computer readable medium, comprising instructions that when executed by one or more computers cause the one or more computers to:
 transmit one or more electronic correspondences between a server system and a plurality of user devices;   determine, based on the one or more electronic correspondences transmitted between the server system and the plurality of user devices, communication preference data indicative of a mode of communication for the one or more electronic correspondences;   classify respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices into a plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using user segmentation criteria for the respective user identifiers and the communication preference data for the one or more electronic correspondences transmitted between the server system and the plurality of user devices; and   in response to identification of a triggering event associated with a user segment from the plurality of user segments, generate an electronic correspondence based on the communication preference data and transmit the electronic correspondence to one or more user devices associated with the user segment.   
     
     
         79 . The computer program product of  claim 78 , further comprising instructions that when executed by the one or more computers cause the one or more computers to:
 determine, based on the one or more electronic correspondences transmitted between the server system and the plurality of user devices, device data indicative of a type of user device for respective user devices from the plurality of user devices; and   classify the respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices into the plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using the device data.   
     
     
         80 . The computer program product of  claim 78 , further comprising instructions that when executed by the one or more computers cause the one or more computers to:
 determine, based on the one or more electronic correspondences transmitted between the server system and the plurality of user devices, device identification data indicative of a network address related to respective user devices from the plurality of user devices; and   classify the respective user identifiers associated with the plurality of user devices into the plurality of user segments for respective potential electronic correspondences using the device identification data.
