Heat pipe structure
Abstract
A heat pipe structure includes a pipe internally defining an airtight chamber, a plurality of wick structures provided in the pipe, and a working fluid filled in the airtight chamber. The wick structures include a plurality of axial grooves, a wire mesh and a sintered powder metal provided in the airtight chamber layer by layer from a radially outer side to a radially inner side. The grooves respectively have an open side and an opposite closed side, and the open side has a width smaller than that of the closed side. The working fluid is able to diffuse and flow back in the pipe through the wick structures. With the above arrangements, the heat pipe structure is a low-temperature heat pipe structure enabling latent heat exchange in a phase change of the working fluid in the pipe under an ambient temperature of 0° C. to -90° C.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A heat pipe structure, comprising:
a pipe internally defining an airtight chamber; a plurality of wick structures including a plurality of axial grooves, a wire mesh and a sintered powder metal provided in the airtight chamber of the pipe layer by layer from a radially outer side to a radially inner side; and the grooves respectively having an open side and an opposite closed side, and the open side having a width smaller than that of the closed side; and a working fluid filled in the airtight chamber of the pipe and being capable of diffusing and flowing back through the wick structures.
2 . The heat pipe structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the grooves respectively have a cross-sectional shape selected from the group consisting of an inverted trapezoidal shape, an omega shape, and an inverted triangular shape.
3 . The heat pipe structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the sintered power metal is a structural body formed by sintering a material selected from the group consisting of copper powder, aluminum powder and nickel powder.
4 . The heat pipe structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the wire mesh is made of a material selected from the group consisting of a copper material, an aluminum material, a stainless steel material and a titanium material.
5 . The heat pipe structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the pipe is formed of a material selected from the group consisting of an aluminum material, a copper material, a stainless steel material and a titanium material.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
