Abstract

An elastic stretchable lid capable of absorbing moisture is revealed. The elastic stretchable lid includes a lid body and a hollow cap. The lid body made of soft and elastic materials is fit on an opening of a container while the hollow cap is arranged at a center of the lid body and provided with at least one air hole on a bottom thereof, a moisture-absorbing member mounted therein, and a moisture measurement unit arranged at the top thereof. Thereby the lid can be applied to different sizes of containers for closing openings and absorbing moisture to keep inner space of the container dry and prevent objects stored in the container from deterioration or mold growth. The reuse of containers protects the environment. Users can learn saturation degree of the moisture-absorbing member easily by the moisture measurement unit and further replace or regenerate the moisture-absorbing member.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . An elastic stretchable lid capable of absorbing moisture comprising a lid body and a hallow cap;
 wherein the lid body is made of soft and elastic materials and able to fit over an opening of a container; and the hollow cap is arranged at a center of the lid body and provided with at least one air hole on a bottom of the hollow cap and a moisture-absorbing member mounted in the hollow cap.

         2 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein at least one sensing hole is disposed on a top of the hollow cap and a moisture measurement unit is arranged over the at least one sensing hole for showing moisture saturation degree of the moisture-absorbing member.

         3 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a seal ring is arranged at the circumference of the lid body so that the lid body is able to close the opening of the container tightly.

         4 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the moisture-absorbing member is a block formed by molding of porous powder blended with adhesives.

         5 . The device as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the moisture-absorbing member can be heated to regenerate for recovery of moisture absorption capacity and reuse.

         6 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a plurality of grooves are circularly disposed on a surface of the lid body so that the lid body can be stretched up much more due to the grooves.

         7 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the id body is made of material selected from the group consisting of silicone rubber and rubber.

         8 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a plurality of protruding pieces are disposed around and extended outward from the lid body so that the lid body is stretched or removed conveniently through operation of the protruding pieces by fingers.

         9 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a through hole is formed at the center of the lid body and the hollow cap is mounted and fixed in the through hole; an opening is formed on the bottom of the hollow cap while a plate is movably placed on the opening and provided with the at least one air hole.

         10 . The device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the hallow cap is integrally formed on the center of the lid body while an opening is formed on the top of the hallow cap and a plate is movably placed over the opening.
