Display device

Abstract

A display device includes a display unit which displays an image, a roller to which an end of the display unit is fixed and which winds or unwinds the display unit by rotating, a housing which accommodates the display unit and the roller, and a guide member which is provided inside the housing and guides a movement of the display unit.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A display device, comprising:
 a display unit which displays an image;   a roller to which an end of the display unit is fixed and which winds or unwinds the display unit by rotating;   a housing which accommodates the display unit and the roller; and   a guide member which is provided inside the housing and guides a movement of the display unit,   wherein the guide member includes: a linear part vertically extending in a direction from a first side to a second side of the housing; and a curved part extending to curve in a direction from the linear part to the second side.   
     
     
         2 . A display device, comprising:
 a display unit which displays an image;   a roller to which an end of the display unit is fixed and which winds or unwinds the display unit by rotating;   a housing which accommodates the display unit and the roller; and   a guide member which is provided inside the housing and guides a movement of the display unit,   wherein the display unit comprises: a display panel including display elements; and a support member joined to a surface of the display panel and including a metal material.   
     
     
         3 . The display device according to  claim 2 , wherein the guide member includes a magnetic part provided in an area thereof and magnetically joined to the support member. 
     
     
         4 . The display device according to  claim 3 , wherein the magnetic part is controlled to be in a turn-off state when the display unit is moving, and is controlled to be in a turn-on state when the display unit is not moving. 
     
     
         5 . The display device according to  claim 3 , wherein the magnetic part is disposed along edges of the guide member. 
     
     
         6 . The display device according to  claim 3 , wherein the support member has a multi joint structure including areas rotatably coupled. 
     
     
         7 . The display device according to  claim 6 , wherein the magnetic part is patterned in the guide member correspond to shapes of the areas.
