Abstract
A modular handle system for a firearm is disclosed. The modular handle system is comprised of several components that are interchangeable. The separate components utilize a connector and a sleeve combination to removably attach components together. The handle system may use fixed handles, pivot handles using a pivot sphere for maneuverability, tripods, or any other firearm component. The separate components may be removed and attached as desired by the user. The sleeves have internal protrusions which fix the connector in place when the connector is inserted into a cavity in the sleeve.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A modular handle system for a firearm comprising
a mounting component configured to be removably secured to a firearm; one or more connectors, wherein each of said one or more connectors has a channel; one or more sleeves, wherein each of said one or more sleeves has an internal cavity; and one or more internal protrusions, wherein the protrusions are respectively disposed in said channel of said one or more connectors when said connector is disposed in said internal cavity of said sleeve.
2 . The modular handle system for a firearm of claim 1 , wherein each of said one or more connectors comprise a first end and a second end.
3 . The modular handle system for a firearm of claim 2 , wherein the channel of each of the one or more connectors is disposed adjacent to the second end of the connector.
4 . The modular handle system for a firearm of claim 3 , wherein each said second end terminates in a lip.
5 . The modular handle system as in claim 4 , further comprising a pivot sphere connected to a portion of said modular handle system.
6 . The modular handle system as in claim 5 , wherein said pivot sphere is connected to said mounting component.
7 . The modular handle system as in claim 4 , further comprising a handle connected to a portion of said modular handle system.
8 . The modular handle system as in claim 7 , wherein said one or more connectors further comprises a connector attached to an end of said handle.
9 . A firearm containing a modular handle system comprising
a firearm; a mounting component removably secured to said firearm; one or more connectors, wherein each of said one or more connectors has a channel; one or more sleeves, wherein each of said one or more sleeves has an internal cavity; and one or more internal protrusions, wherein the protrusions are respectively disposed in said channel of said one or more connectors when said connector is disposed in said internal cavity of said sleeve.
10 . The firearm containing a modular handle system of claim 9 , wherein each of said one or more connectors comprise a first end and a second end.
11 . The firearm containing a modular handle system of claim 10 , wherein the channel of each of the one or more connectors is disposed adjacent to the second end of the connector.
12 . The firearm containing a modular handle system of claim 11 , wherein each said second end terminates in a lip.
13 . The modular handle system as in claim 12 , further comprising a pivot sphere connected to a portion of said modular handle system.
14 . The modular handle system as in claim 13 , wherein said pivot sphere is connected to said mounting component.
15 . The modular handle system as in claim 12 , further comprising a handle connected to a portion of said modular handle system.
16 . The modular handle system as in claim 15 , wherein said one or more connectors further comprises a connector attached to an end of said handle.
17 . A method for rearranging a configuration of a modular handle system for a firearm, wherein said modular handle system comprises
a mounting component configured to be removably secured to a firearm; one or more connectors, wherein each of said one or more connectors has a channel, one or more sleeves,
wherein the one or more sleeves comprises a first sleeve and a second sleeve,
wherein each of said one or more sleeves has an internal cavity; and
one or more internal protrusions, wherein the protrusions are respectively disposed in said channel of said one or more connectors when said connector is disposed in said internal cavity of said sleeve; and wherein said method further comprises
inserting a first connector of the one or more connectors into the first sleeve;
removing said first connector from the first sleeve;
inserting said first connector into the second sleeve; and
firing said firearm.
18 . The method for rearranging a configuration of a modular handle system for a firearm of claim 17 , wherein the mounting component further comprises a third sleeve.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
