Abstract
A sensor-equipped display device is provided and includes display panel including first and second substrates, common electrode, and polarizer; backlight unit which emits light toward display panel, including light guide opposed to polarizer and light source which emits light toward light guide; conductive member arranged at back side of display panel and opposed to polarizer; controller; first flexible printed circuit; and second flexible printed circuit, wherein first flexible printed circuit is connected to display panel, second flexible printed circuit is connected to back side of first flexible printed circuit, common electrode is connected to controller via first flexible printed circuit, second flexible printed circuit comprises first branch portion and second branch portion, first branch portion is connected to light source, and conductive member is connected to controller via second branch portion of second flexible printed circuit and first flexible printed circuit.

1 . A sensor-equipped display device comprising:
a display panel including a common electrode and a detection electrode crossing the common electrode in a plan view; a backlight unit which emits light toward the display panel; a conductive member arranged at a back side of the backlight unit; and a controller configured to control the display panel and the conductive member in a time divisional manner including
a display period when an image is displayed,
a first sense period when the controller drives the common electrode and extracts input position data from the detection electrode, and
a second sense period when the controller drives the conductive member and extracts an input pressure data from the common electrode, or the controller drives the common electrode and extracts the input pressure data from conductive member, the input pressure data being based on a variation in a distance between the common electrode and the conductive member.
2 . The sensor-equipped display device of claim 1 , wherein
when the controller extracts the input pressure data from the conductive member, the controller inputs a drive signal to the common electrode and receives the input pressure data from the conductive member.
3 . The sensor-equipped display device of claim 1 , wherein
when the controller extracts the input pressure data from the common electrode, the controller inputs a drive signal to the conductive member and receives the input pressure data from the common electrode.
4 . The sensor-equipped display device of claim 1 , wherein
the common electrode comprises a plurality of divisional electrodes extending in a first direction and arranged at intervals.
5 . The sensor-equipped display device of claim 1 , wherein
the conductive member comprises a plurality of divisional portions extending in a second direction and arranged at intervals.
6 . The sensor-equipped display device of claim 1 , wherein
the common electrode comprises a plurality of divisional electrodes extending in a first direction and arranged at intervals, and the conductive member comprises a plurality of divisional portions extending in a second direction crossing the first direction and arranged at intervals.
7 . The sensor-equipped display device of claim 1 , wherein
the conductive member is a casing which accommodates the backlight unit.
8 . The sensor-equipped display device of claim 1 , further comprising:
an air layer, which shrinks when the display panel is pushed, provided in the distance.
9 . The sensor-equipped display device of claim 1 , wherein
the controller supplies a common drive signal to the common electrode when the controller drives the common electrode in the display period.
10 . A sensor-equipped display device comprising:
a display panel including a plurality of common electrodes in a display area; a backlight unit which emits light toward the display area; a conductive member arranged at a back side of the backlight unit; and a controller configured to control the display panel and the conductive member in a time divisional manner including
a display period during which an image is displayed in the display area,
a first sense period when the controller drives the common electrodes in self-capacitive touch detection mode, and
a second sense period when the controller drives the conductive member and extracts an input pressure data from the common electrode, or the controller drives the common electrode and extracts the input pressure data from conductive member, the input pressure data being based on a variation in a distance between the common electrode and the conductive member.
11 . The sensor-equipped display device of claim 10 , wherein
when the controller extracts the input pressure data from the conductive member, the controller inputs a drive signal to the common electrodes and receives the input pressure data from the conductive member.
12 . The sensor-equipped display device of claim 10 , wherein
when the controller extracts the input pressure data from the common electrodes, the controller inputs a drive signal to the conductive member and receives the input pressure data from the common electrodes.
13 . The sensor-equipped display device of claim 10 , wherein
the conductive member comprises a plurality of divisional portions extending in a second direction and arranged at intervals.
14 . The sensor-equipped display device of claim 10 , wherein
the conductive member is a casing which accommodates the backlight unit.
15 . The sensor-equipped display device of claim 10 , further comprising
an air layer, which shrinks when the display panel is pushed, provided in the distance.
16 . The sensor-equipped display device of claim 10 , wherein
