Telescopic paper holder

Abstract

The present invention relates to a telescopic paper holder having a base member with a mounting plate for the mounting of the telescopic paper holder to a wall, floor or other article. On the opposing side of the telescopic paper holder, a primary holder having a proximal end and a distal end is designed to be positioned within a center of a roll of paper during use. Between the primary holder and the mounting plate, at least one telescopic member is positioned. During operation, a user may extend or collapse the at least one telescopic member to move the primary holder relative to the mounting plate.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A telescopic paper holder comprising:
 a base member having a mounting plate;   a paper holder having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the paper holder is configured to hold a roll of paper;   a telescoping shaft member positioned between the base member and the proximal end of the primary member; and   wherein a first mode of operation a user may extend or collapse the telescoping shaft member to move the paper holder relative to the mounting plate.   
     
     
         2 . The telescopic paper holder of  claim 1 , wherein mounting plate is configured to be mounted to a vertical wall. 
     
     
         3 . The telescopic paper holder of  claim 2 , wherein the vertical wall is behind a toilet. 
     
     
         4 . The telescopic paper holder of  claim 2 , wherein the vertical wall is a side wall next to a toilet. 
     
     
         5 . The telescopic paper holder of  claim 1 , wherein mounting plate is configured to be mounted to a floor surface. 
     
     
         6 . The telescopic paper holder of  claim 1 , wherein the roll of paper is toilet tissue paper. 
     
     
         7 . The telescopic paper holder of  claim 1 , wherein the base member is rectangular shaped. 
     
     
         8 . The telescopic paper holder of  claim 1 , wherein the base member is circular shaped. 
     
     
         9 . The telescopic paper holder of  claim 1 , wherein mounting plate includes pass through holes configured to receive fasteners. 
     
     
         10 . The telescopic paper holder of  claim 1 , wherein telescoping shaft member includes at least five sequentially nested telescopic members. 
     
     
         11 . The telescopic paper holder of  claim 1 , wherein the paper holder and the telescoping shaft member are axial aligned. 
     
     
         12 . A telescopic tissue paper holder consisting of:
 a base member having a mounting plate configured to mount the telescopic tissue paper holder near a toilet;   a paper holder having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the paper holder is configured to hold a roll of toilet tissue paper;   a telescoping shaft member positioned between the base member and the proximal end of the primary member; and   wherein a first mode of operation a user may extend or collapse the telescoping shaft member to move the paper holder relative to the mounting plate.
