Golf club shroud

Abstract

What is disclosed herein is a golf grip shroud that is useful for gripping a golf club grip while keeping the golfer's hands warm during execution of a golf stroke or swing. The shroud is configured to fit over both of the golfer's hands and still allow the hands to hold the grip of the golf club without interference from any foreign material. Thus, no foreign material exists between the golfer's hands and the grip of the club. Further, the shroud has enough inside volume to allow flexibility of the golfer's hands inside of the shroud.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A golf grip shroud, said golf grip shroud comprising a shroud having three openings;
 i. a first opening in a front end of said shroud, the size of said opening allowing the insertion of a handle portion of a golf club therein;   ii. a second opening at an opposite end of said shroud from said first opening, said second opening large enough to insert a human hand;   iii. a third opening adjacent to said second opening, said third opening large enough to inset a human hand.   
     
     
         2 . The golf grip shroud as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said shroud is lined with soft, insulative material. 
     
     
         3 . The golf grip shroud as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said shroud has enough inside room to hold said golf club, grip said golf club, and flex said human hands. 
     
     
         4 . The golf grip shroud as claimed in  claim 1  wherein the distance of said front opening from said second opening is from 8 to 18 inches. 
     
     
         5 . The golf grip shroud as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said open space inside said shroud is from 250 cubic inches to 450 cubic inches. 
     
     
         6 . The golf grip shroud as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said shroud is waterproof. 
     
     
         7 . The golf grip shroud as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said shroud has a carrying lanyard attached thereto. 
     
     
         8 . The golf grip shroud as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said shroud has writing on an exterior surface. 
     
     
         9 . The golf grip shroud as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said writing is embroidery. 
     
     
         10 . The golf grip shroud as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said writing is printed. 
     
     
         11 . The golf grip shroud as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said writing is painted. 
     
     
         12 . The golf grip shroud as claimed in  claim 1  when used as a training aid.
