Systems and methods of generating, validating, approving, recording, and utilizing digital data assets in a blockchain platform using a transactional proof of work
Abstract
A method of performing block generation may include receiving a request from one or more sources that includes task data associated with one or more tasks for an economy, context information, and an indication of a blockchain of a blockchain matrix to which the task data pertains. The method includes determining whether the task data corresponds to a qualifying transaction for the economy for recording in the blockchain and, if so, determining whether to approve recordation of the qualifying transaction to the blockchain. In response to approving recordation of the transaction, generating a new block for the blockchain that includes the qualifying transaction, and adding the new block to the blockchain.

1 . A method for operating a blockchain platform, comprising:
receiving, by an economy controller, a request to record transaction information in a first blockchain maintained by an economy; communicating, by the economy controller, the transaction information of the request to a validator machine via a first W-machine that is associated with the first blockchain; receiving, by the economy controller, a first signed request to record the transaction information in the first blockchain when the validator machine determines that the transaction information is suitable for recording in the first blockchain, the first signed request comprising the request with a first signature; communicating, by the economy controller, the first signed request to a context machine via a second W-machine; receiving, by the economy controller, a second signed request to record the transaction information in the first blockchain when the context machine approves of the transaction information being recorded in the first blockchain, the second signed request comprising the first signed request with a second signature; and communicating, by the economy controller, the second signed request to a generation machine via the first W-machine to cause a transaction associated with the second signed request to be added to a pool of transactions and subsequently have a block added to the first blockchain when certain conditions for new block creation are determined to be met based on contents of the pool.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the transaction information comprises task data associated with at least one task that has been performed by at least one participant of the economy.
3 . The method according to claim 2 , wherein the transaction information further comprises context information.
4 . The method according to claim 3 , further comprising identifying a second blockchain from a blockchain matrix based on the context information.
5 . The method according to claim 4 , wherein the second blockchain is different than the first blockchain of the blockchain matrix to which the task data is associated.
6 . The method according to claim 5 , further comprising identifying the second W-machine from a plurality of W-machines that is associated with the second blockchain which was identified from the blockchain matrix as being associated with the context information.
7 . The method according to claim 6 , wherein the second W-machine is different than the first W-machine of the plurality of W-machines that is associated with the task data of the request.
8 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the certain conditions for new block creation are met when the transaction along or in combination with another transaction in the pool satisfies a definition of a qualifying transaction.
9 . The method according to claim 8 , wherein the qualifying transaction is defined as a transaction having one or more characteristics associated with a given transaction type of a plurality of transaction types.
10 . The method according to claim 9 , wherein the one or more characteristics comprise a given value to a business entity or a given utility of the transaction.
11 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the first blockchain comprises information describing financial results of an agreement between at least two parties which is described in another blockchain of a plurality of blockchains.
12 . A system, comprising:
a processor; a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising programming instructions that are configured to cause the processor to implement a method for operating a blockchain platform, wherein the programming instructions comprise instructions to:
receive a request to record transaction information in a first blockchain maintained by an economy;
communicate the transaction information of the request to a validator machine via a first W-machine that is associated with the first blockchain;
receive a first signed request to record the transaction information in the first blockchain when the validator machine determines that the transaction information is suitable for recording in the first blockchain, the first signed request comprising the request with a first signature;
communicate the first signed request to a context machine via a second W-machine;
receive a second signed request to record the transaction information in the first blockchain when the context machine approves of the transaction information being recorded in the first blockchain, the second signed request comprising the first signed request with a second signature; and
communicate the second signed request to a generation machine via the first W-machine to cause a transaction associated with the second signed request to be added to a pool of transactions and subsequently have a block added to the first blockchain when certain conditions for new block creation are determined to be met based on contents of the pool.
13 . The system according to claim 12 , wherein the transaction information comprises task data associated with at least one task that has been performed by at least one participant of the economy.
14 . The system according to claim 13 , wherein the transaction information further comprises context information.
15 . The system according to claim 14 , wherein the programming instructions further comprise instructions to identify a second blockchain from a blockchain matrix based on the context information.
16 . The system according to claim 15 , wherein the second blockchain is different than the first blockchain of the blockchain matrix to which the task data is associated.
17 . The system according to claim 16 , wherein the programming instructions further comprise instructions to identify the second W-machine from a plurality of W-machines that is associated with the second blockchain which was identified from the blockchain matrix as being associated with the context information.
18 . The system according to claim 17 , wherein the second W-machine is different than the first W-machine of the plurality of W-machines that is associated with the task data of the request.
19 . The system according to claim 12 , wherein the certain conditions for new block creation are met when the transaction along or in combination with another transaction in the pool satisfies a definition of a qualifying transaction.
20 . The system according to claim 19 , wherein the qualifying transaction is defined as a transaction having one or more characteristics associated with a given transaction type of a plurality of transaction types.
21 . The system according to claim 20 , wherein the one or more characteristics comprise a given value to a business entity or a given utility of the transaction.
