Abstract
A light emitting device includes: a substrate; a light emitting element disposed on the substrate; a plate-shaped light transmissive member having a first face, a second face opposite to the first face and a lateral face between the first face and the second face, the plate-shaped light transmissive member disposed so that the second face faces a light emission face of the light emitting element; a light shielding frame having an inner perimeter face surrounding the lateral face; a first light reflecting member disposed between the lateral face and the inner perimeter face so as to expose the first face of the light transmissive member; and a second light reflecting member disposed between the first light reflecting member and the substrate to cover a side face of the light emitting element.

1 . A light emitting device comprising:
a substrate; a light emitting element disposed on the substrate; a plate-shaped light transmissive member having a first face, a second face opposite to the first face and a lateral face between the first face and the second face, the plate-shaped light transmissive member disposed so that the second face faces a light emission face of the light emitting element; a light shielding frame having an inner perimeter face surrounding the lateral face; a first light reflecting member disposed between the lateral face and the inner perimeter face so as to expose the first face of the light transmissive member; and a second light reflecting member disposed between the first light reflecting member and the substrate to cover a side face of the light emitting element.
2 . The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the second face of the plate-shaped light transmissive member is larger than the first face of the plate-shaped light transmissive member.
3 . The light emitting device according to claim 2 , wherein at least part of an outer perimeter of the second face is positioned on the outside of the inner perimeter face of the light shielding frame.
4 . The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein a thickness of the light shielding frame is smaller than a thickness of the plate-shaped light transmissive member.
5 . The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the second face of the light transmissive member and the light emission face of the light emitting element are bonded via a light guide member.
6 . The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the light transmissive member contains a phosphor.
7 . The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein
the first face of the light transmissive member and an upper face of the light shielding frame are positioned on a same plane.
8 . The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the second light reflecting member covers the outer perimeter of the light shielding frame.
9 . The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein
the outer perimeter of the light shielding frame is positioned inside of the outer perimeter of the light emitting device.
10 . The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the light shielding frame is constructed with a metal frame comprising a metal or a frame having a metal film on the surface, the metal or the metal film absorbing a light.
11 . The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein
a spacing between the inner perimeter of the light shielding frame and an outer perimeter of the first face of the light transmissive member is not less than 5 μm nor more than 150 μm.
12 . The light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein
