Reagent for detecting target substance containing sugar chain, detection method, carrier used in detection of target substance containing sugar chain, and method for manufacturing said carrier

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for detecting a target substance that is useful for detection of a glycoprotein and the like comprising a specific sugar chain, a reagent for detecting a target substance, a carrier and a method for manufacturing the carrier.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A reagent for detecting a target substance comprising a sugar chain that binds with lectin of  Wisteria floribunda  (WFA),
 wherein the reagent comprises a dimeric WFA immobilized carrier comprising a solid phase carrier and a dimeric WFA, and the dimeric WFA is immobilized on the solid phase carrier.   
     
     
         2 . The reagent according to  claim 1 , wherein the dimeric WFA is composed of two subunits. 
     
     
         3 . The reagent according to  claim 1 , wherein the dimeric WFA is immobilized on the solid phase carrier via biotin and biotin-binding protein. 
     
     
         4 . The reagent according to  claim 3 , wherein the dimeric WFA is biotinylated dimeric WFA, and the biotin-binding protein is immobilized on the solid phase carrier, and the biotinylated dimeric WFA is immobilized on the solid phase carrier via the biotin-binding protein. 
     
     
         5 . The reagent according to  claim 1 , wherein the solid phase carrier is a magnetic particle. 
     
     
         6 . A reagent kit for detecting a target substance comprising a sugar chain that binds with lectin of  Wisteria floribunda  (WFA), the reagent kit comprising: the reagent according to  claim 1 ; and a labeling substance that specifically binds with the target substance. 
     
     
         7 . The reagent kit according to  claim 6 , wherein the labeling substance is a labeled antibody that specifically binds with the target substance. 
     
     
         8 . The reagent kit according to  claim 7 , wherein the labeled antibody comprises an enzyme. 
     
     
         9 . The reagent kit according to  claim 8 , further comprising a substrate for the enzyme.
