Abstract

A band jewelry with a one a band holding a first band loop and a second band loop A one-piece connector has a first hook for attachment to the first band loop and a second hook for attachment to the second band loop. The first hook holds oppositely arranged hook arms connected by a first end part. A first hook space with a first opening receives the first band loop. The second hook holds oppositely arranged hook arms connected by a second end part. A second hook space with a second opening receives the second band loop. The first and second hooks are positioned with the openings facing each other. A third opening is formed by an opening between the oppositely positioned first hook arms of the first and second hooks.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A band jewelry, such as a band bracelet or a band necklace, comprising:
 a band holding a first band loop at a first end part and a second band loop at a second end part; and a one-piece connector made of a rigid material, said connector having a first hook for removably attachment to the first band loop and a second hook for removably attachment to the second band loop; wherein the first hook holds first and second oppositely arranged hook arms connected by a first end part, which hook arms and first end part of the first hook define a first hook space with a first opening for receiving the first band loop therethrough, and the second hook holds first and second oppositely arranged hook arms connected by a second end part, which hook arms and second end part of the second hook define a second hook space with a second opening for receiving the second band loop therethrough; wherein the first and second hooks are oppositely positioned with the first and second openings facing each other and with a third hook space defined therebetween, said third hook space being partly defined by a third end part and having a third opening for receiving the band loops, were the third opening is formed by an opening between the oppositely positioned first hook arms of the first and second hooks, while the second hook arms of the first and second hooks are connected together, thereby forming the third end part; wherein the first and second end parts each have an arched or curved outer wall part connecting outer wall parts of the first and second hook arms of the first hook and the second hook, respectively; wherein the arched outer wall part of the first and second end parts holds and arched part having a radius of curvature being no larger than one third of the total outer length of the one-piece connector; and wherein the first hook arm of the first hook and the first hook arm of the second hook each have a tip holding an arched or curved outer wall part having a radius of curvature being no larger than one third of the total outer length of the one-piece connector; characterized in that part of the arched or curved outer wall part of the tip of the first hook arm of the first hook faces the first opening and extends into a first inner wall part of the first hook space; and part of the arched or curved outer wall part of the tip of the first hook arm of the second hook faces the second opening and extends into a first inner wall part of the second hook space.

         2 . The band jewelry according to claim 1 , wherein there is no peak formation or no sharp peak formation on the tip of the first hook harm of the first hook; and
 wherein there is no peak formation or no sharp peak formation on the tip of the first hook harm of the second hook.

         3 . The band jewelry according to  claim 1 , wherein the width of the third opening is larger than the width of the first opening and larger than the width of the second opening;

         4 . The band jewelry according to claim 1 , wherein the arched outer wall part of the first end part has a minimum radius of curvature being larger than the width of the first opening, and the arched outer wall part of the second end part has a minimum radius of curvature being larger than the width of the second opening.

         5 . The band jewelry according to claim 1 , wherein the width of the first opening is smaller than a largest inner distance between the two opposed hook arms forming the first hook space, and the width of the second opening is smaller than a largest inner distance between the two opposed hook arms forming the second hook space.

         6 . The band jewelry according to claim 1 , wherein the band of each said first and second band loops is made of a material allowing an at least slightly deformation of the thickness of the band when the band is exposed to a pressurizing or pulling force.

         7 . The band jewelry according to claim 6 , wherein the band forming the first band loop has a non-deformed thickness larger than the width of the first opening and smaller than a largest inner distance between the two opposed hooks arms forming the first hook space, and the band forming the second band loop has a non-deformed thickness larger than the width of the second opening and smaller than a largest inner distance between the two opposed hook arms forming the second hook space.

         8 . The band jewelry according to claim 1 , wherein the band of each said first and second band loops comprises a polymer material, such as a plastic material, and/or
 wherein the band of each said first and second band loops is made of or comprises one or more fibre threads.

         9 . The band jewelry according to claim 1 , wherein the one-piece connector is made of metal and selected from a list including: gold, silver and stainless steel, or
 wherein the one-piece connector is made of hard type plastic.
