Abstract

A protective case for a travel pillow having a hollow interior configured to receive a travel pillow, the hollow interior having a geometry configured to match the geometry of the travel pillow, wherein the travel pillow is defined by a fill encapsulated by a layer of material, and at least one sealable opening to the hollow interior, wherein the hollow interior is less than an entire interior of the protective case.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A travel pillow protective case comprising:
 a. a hollow interior configured to receive a travel pillow, the hollow interior having a geometry configured to match the geometry of the travel pillow, wherein the travel pillow is defined by a fill encapsulated by a layer of material, and   b. at least one sealable opening to the hollow interior, wherein the hollow interior is less than an entire interior of the protective case.   
     
     
         2 . The protective case of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one sealable opening is configured to receive a first arm of the travel pillow. 
     
     
         3 . The protective case of  claim 2 , wherein the hollow interior is crescent shaped, and wherein 
     
     
         4 . The protective case of  claim 1 , wherein the device is comprised of a hypoallergenic material. 
     
     
         5 . The protective case of  claim 1 , wherein the device is comprised of a bamboo material. 
     
     
         6 . The protective case of  claim 1 , wherein the device is comprised of an antimicrobial material. 
     
     
         7 . The protective case of  claim 1 , further comprising a power source in electrical communication with a processor and one or more speakers; and a wireless receiver in communication with the processor and at least one media storage device, wherein a mobile device wirelessly communicates with the wireless receiver to transmit data to the device. 
     
     
         8 . The protective case of  claim 5 , wherein the data is audio, and wherein the audio is played through the one or more speakers. 
     
     
         9 . The protective case of  claim 5 , further comprising a plurality of leds configured to emit light of a preset wavelength, wherein the light is configured to promote circadian rhythms. 
     
     
         10 . The protective case of  claim 5 , further comprising a transmitter in communication with the power source, wherein the transmitter is configured to transmit a signal to the mobile device, wherein the signal indicated a location of the device. 
     
     
         11 . The protective case of  claim 1 , further comprising one or more sidewalls separating the top surface and the bottom surface, wherein an aperture extends through at least one of the one or more sidewalls to the hollow interior. 
     
     
         12 . The protective case of  claim 9 , further comprising a fastener positions around the aperture, wherein the fastener is configured to close the aperture. 
     
     
         13 . The protective case of  claim 1 , wherein a pocket is disposed on an exterior surface of the top side, wherein the pocket is configured to store the device in a closed position, wherein the closed position is defined by the device rolled into the pocket 
     
     
         14 . The protective case of  claim 1 , further comprising at least two openings, one of the two openings configured to open to the hollow interior and a second of the at least two openings configured to open to a second hollow interior positioned within the protective case between a first arm and a second arm of the travel pillow. 
     
     
         15 . The protective case of  claim 14 , wherein the pouch is selectively sealable. 
     
     
         16 . A protective case for a travel pillow comprising:
 a. a crescent shaped hollow interior configured to receive and retain a travel pillow therein,   b. at least one opening into the hollow interior, the at least one opening being selectively sealable with a closure means,   c. at least one connection means configured to connect the protective case to a substrate   d. a divider within the hollow interior, the divider configured to separate a first arm and second arm of the travel pillow inserted therein.   
     
     
         17 . The protective case of  claim 16 , wherein the at least one sealable opening is configured to receive a first arm of the travel pillow, wherein the hollow interior is crescent shaped, wherein the device is comprised of a hypoallergenic material. 
     
     
         18 . The protective case of  claim 17 , wherein the device is comprised of a bamboo material. 
     
     
         19 . The protective case of  claim 18 , wherein the device is comprised of an antimicrobial material. 
     
     
         20 . The protective case of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a. a power source in electrical communication with a processor and one or more speakers; and a wireless receiver in communication with the processor and at least one media storage device, wherein a mobile device wirelessly communicates with the wireless receiver to transmit data to the device, wherein the data is audio, and wherein the audio is played through the one or more speakers   b. a plurality of leds configured to emit light of a preset wavelength, wherein the light is configured to promote circadian rhythms   c. a transmitter in communication with the power source, wherein the transmitter is configured to transmit a signal to the mobile device, wherein the signal indicated a location of the device,   d. wherein a pocket is disposed on an exterior surface of the top side, wherein the pocket is configured to store the device in a closed position, wherein the closed position is defined by the device rolled into the pocket, and   e. at least two openings, one of the two openings configured to open to the hollow interior and a second of the at least two openings configured to open to a second hollow interior positioned within the protective case between a first arm and a second arm of the travel pillow.
