Abstract
Embodiments of this application provide a communication processing method of terminal information. In an embodiment, a method comprises: sending, by a first access network device, a secondary base station addition request to a second access network device, wherein the secondary base station addition request comprises software version information of a terminal device; and receiving, by the first access network device, a secondary base station addition acknowledgement from the second access network device to implement dual connectivity, wherein the secondary base station addition acknowledgement comprises a configuration determined based on the software version information.

receiving, by a second access network device from a first access network device, a secondary base station addition request, wherein the secondary base station addition request comprises software version information of a terminal device; and sending, by the second access network device to the first access network device, a secondary base station addition acknowledgement to implement dual connectivity, wherein the secondary base station addition acknowledgement comprises a configuration determined based on the software version information.
6 . The method according to claim 5 , wherein the software version information of the terminal device is a masked international mobile equipment identity and software version number (masked IMEISV).
7 . The method according to claim 5 , wherein the software version information indicates a manner in which the terminal device implements a technical characteristic supported by the terminal device.
8 . The method according to claim 5 , wherein the configuration determined based on the software version information comprises a configuration corresponding to a technical characteristic supported by the terminal device.
9 . An apparatus, comprising:
at least one processor and; a memory storing instructions for execution by the at least one processor to cause the apparatus to perform operations comprising:
sending a secondary base station addition request to a second access network device, wherein the secondary base station addition request comprises software version information of a terminal device; and
receiving a secondary base station addition acknowledgement from the second access network device to implement dual connectivity, wherein the secondary base station addition acknowledgement comprises a configuration determined based on the software version information.
10 . The apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the software version information of the terminal device is a masked international mobile equipment identity and software version number (masked IMEISV).
11 . The apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the software version information indicates a manner in which the terminal device implements a technical characteristic supported by the terminal device.
12 . The apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the configuration determined based on the software version information comprises a configuration corresponding to a technical characteristic supported by the terminal device.
13 . An apparatus, comprising:
at least one processor and; a memory storing instructions for execution by the at least one processor to cause the apparatus to perform operations comprising:
receiving from a first access network device, a secondary base station addition request, wherein the secondary base station addition request comprises software version information of a terminal device; and
sending to the first access network device, a secondary base station addition acknowledgement to implement dual connectivity, wherein the secondary base station addition acknowledgement comprises a configuration determined based on the software version information.
14 . The apparatus according to claim 13 , wherein the software version information of the terminal device is a masked international mobile equipment identity and software version number (masked IMEISV).
15 . The apparatus according to claim 13 , wherein the software version information indicates a manner in which the terminal device implements a technical characteristic supported by the terminal device.
16 . The apparatus according to claim 13 , wherein the configuration determined based on the software version information comprises a configuration corresponding to a technical characteristic supported by the terminal device.
17 . A system for implementing dual connectivity, comprising: a first access network device and a second access network device; wherein
the first access network device is configured to:
send a secondary base station addition request to a second access network device, wherein the secondary base station addition request comprises software version information of a terminal device; and
receive a secondary base station addition acknowledgement from the second access network device to implement dual connectivity, wherein the secondary base station addition acknowledgement comprises a configuration determined based on the software version information;
the second access network device is configured to:
receive from the first access network device, the secondary base station addition request; and
send to the first access network device, the secondary base station addition acknowledgement.
18 . The system according to claim 17 , wherein the software version information of the terminal device is a masked international mobile equipment identity and software version number (masked IMEISV).
19 . The system according to claim 17 , wherein the software version information indicates a manner in which the terminal device implements a technical characteristic supported by the terminal device.
