Information notification method, information notification system, and server device
Abstract
An information notification method for providing information from a server device to a plurality of devices connected to a network, including: reading notification information stored in association with information indicating a particular action of a user; acquiring operation histories of the plurality of devices;estimating, based on operation histories of one or more devices owned by the user among the plurality of devices, a no-operation period during which the user is unlikely to operate the one or more devices; determining, based on current operation state of the one or more devices, whether the particular action has been performed outside the no-operation period; and transmitting, when outcome of the determining is affirmative, the notification information associated with the particular action to a destination device among the one or more devices owned by the user. The destination device provides the user with the notification information.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An information notification method for providing information from a server device to a plurality of devices connected to a network, the method comprising:
the server device
reading a user information table in which information including a user ID is associated with information including a device ID for a device owned by the user;
reading a notification information table in which at least device type information and notification information are associated with each other;
determining if a current time is within a defined period;
when the current time is within the defined period, determining whether a defined device owned by the user has been operated by referring to history information in which an operation history of operation of the defined device owned by the user is recorded; and
upon determining that the defined device has been operated, transmitting the notification information associated with device type information of the defined device in the notification information table.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the defined device is a device related to cooking, and the notification information is information on cooking or ingredients.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the server device further
reads a notification condition information table in which a notification condition for transmitting the notification information and a device type as a destination for transmission of the notification information are associated with each other, reads a device information table in which device type and notification method are associated with each other, upon determining that the defined device has been operated, determines the device type and the notification method for the transmitting of the notification information, based on the information in the notification condition information table and the device information table, and executes the transmitting of the notification information to the device type determined, using the notification method determined.
4 . A server device that provides information to a plurality of devices connected to a network, the server device:
reading a user information table in which information including a user ID is associated with information including a device ID for a device owned by the user; reading a notification information table in which at least device type information and notification information are associated with each other; determining if a current time is within a defined period; when the current time is within the defined period, determining whether a defined device owned by the user has been operated by referring to history information in which an operation history of operation of the defined device owned by the user is recorded; and upon determining that the defined device has been operated, transmitting the notification information associated with device type information of the defined device in the notification information table.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
