Travel pouch

Abstract

A travel pouch includes a plurality of panels defining a cuboid shape. Within the travel pouch is a sleeve including divider portions with fastening material that may be joined together to form a divider across the sleeve. The divider portions may each include multiple panels. Fastening material on the sleeve may facilitate folding back the divider portions when not in use. A panel may include a cable opening, an end portion of which is covered with an outer panel.

The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows: 
     
         1 . A travel pouch comprising:
 a plurality of panels including a front panel, a top panel, a back panel, a bottom panel, a left panel, and a right panel;   an outer opening defined across one or more of the panels of the plurality of panels;   a sleeve defined within a volume defined by the plurality of panels;   a first divider portion secured to a first side of the sleeve at a proximal end of the first divider portion and having a first fastener portion secured at a distal end of the first divider portion; and   a second divider portion secured to a second side of the sleeve at a proximal end of the second divider portion and having a second fastener portion secured at a distal end of the second divider portion, the second side being opposite the first side, the first fastener portion being securable to the second fastener portion to form a divider extending completely between the first side and the second side.   
     
     
         2 . The travel pouch of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a third divider portion secured to the first side of the sleeve at a proximal end of the third divider portion and having a distal end of the third divider portion secured to the distal end of the first divider portion; and   a fourth divider portion secured to the second side of the sleeve at a proximal end of the fourth divider portion and having a distal end of the fourth divider portion secured to the distal end of the second divider portion.   
     
     
         3 . The travel pouch of  claim 1 , wherein:
 the proximal end of the first divider portion and the proximal end of the third divider portion are fastened to one another; and   the proximal end of the second divider portion and the proximal end of the fourth divider portion are fastened to one another.   
     
     
         4 . The travel pouch of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a third fastener portion secured to the first side of the sleeve and positioned to engage the first fastener portion with folding of the first divider portion; and   a fourth fastener portion secured to the second side of the sleeve and positioned to engage the second fastener portion with folding of the second divider portion.   
     
     
         5 . The travel pouch of  claim 1 , wherein at least one side of the sleeve is formed by a an inner surface of one panel of the plurality of panels. 
     
     
         6 . The travel pouch of  claim 1 , wherein the outer opening is defined across the left panel, top panel, and right panel. 
     
     
         7 . The travel pouch of  claim 6 , wherein one side of the sleeve is defined by the front panel. 
     
     
         8 . The travel pouch of  claim 6 , wherein the outer opening extends diagonally across the left panel and the right panel. 
     
     
         9 . The travel pouch of  claim 7 , further comprising:
 a left web secured within the travel pouch and spanning across a portion of the outer opening defined by the left panel; and   a right web secured within the travel pouch and spanning across a portion of the outer opening defined by the right panel.   
     
     
         10 . The travel pouch of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a cable opening defined in a first panel of the plurality of panels and extending from a first end of the cable opening to a second end of the cable opening; and   an outer panel covering an end portion of the cable opening including the second end.   
     
     
         11 . The travel pouch of  claim 10 , further comprising two zipper pulls engaging the cable opening. 
     
     
         12 . The travel pouch of  claim 10 , further comprising an inner panel secured within the travel pouch over the first panel, the inner panel defining an inner opening. 
     
     
         13 . A travel pouch comprising:
 a plurality of panels including a front panel, a top panel, a back panel, a bottom panel, a left panel, and a right panel;   an outer opening defined across one or more of the panels of the plurality of panels;   a cable opening defined in a first panel of the plurality of panels and extending from a first end of the cable opening to a second end of the cable opening; and   an outer panel covering an end portion of the cable opening including the second end, the end portion including 10 and 30 percent of a length of the cable opening.   
     
     
         14 . The travel pouch of  claim 13 , further comprising two zipper pulls engaging the cable opening. 
     
     
         15 . The travel pouch of  claim 13 , further comprising an inner panel secured within the travel pouch over the first panel, the inner panel defining an inner opening. 
     
     
         16 . The travel pouch of  claim 13 , further comprising:
 a sleeve defined within a volume defined by the plurality of panels;   a first divider portion secured to a first side of the sleeve at a proximal end of the first divider portion and having a first fastener portion secured at a distal end of the first divider portion; and   a second divider portion secured to a second side of the sleeve at a proximal end of the second divider portion and having a second fastener portion secured at a distal end of the second divider portion, the second side being opposite the first side, the first fastener portion being securable to the second fastener portion to form a divider extending completely between the first side and the second side.   
     
     
         17 . The travel pouch of  claim 16 , further comprising:
 a third divider portion secured to the first side of the sleeve at a proximal end of the third divider portion and having a distal end of the third divider portion secured to the distal end of the first divider portion; and   a fourth divider portion secured to the second side of the sleeve at a proximal end of the fourth divider portion and having a distal end of the fourth divider portion secured to the distal end of the second divider portion.   
     
     
         18 . The travel pouch of  claim 16 , wherein:
 the proximal end of the first divider portion and the proximal end of the third divider portion are fastened to one another; and   the proximal end of the second divider portion and the proximal end of the fourth divider portion are fastened to one another.   
     
     
         19 . The travel pouch of  claim 16 , further comprising:
 a third fastener portion secured to the first side of the sleeve and positioned to engage the first fastener portion with folding of the first divider portion; and   a fourth fastener portion secured to the second side of the sleeve and positioned to engage the second fastener portion with folding of the second divider portion.   
     
     
         20 . The travel pouch of  claim 13 , wherein the outer opening extends diagonally across the left panel and the right panel. 
     
     
         21 . A travel pouch comprising:
 a plurality of panels including a front panel, a top panel, a back panel, a bottom panel, a left panel, and a right panel;   a zippered opening extending diagonally across the left panel and the right panel relative to edges of the left panel and the right panel, the zippered opening further extending across any of: the front panel, top panel, and an intersection of the front panel with the top panel;   a left web extending across at least a portion of the left panel and configured such that when the zippered opening is not closed and the front panel is pivoted outwardly relative to the bottom panel, the left web is raised above at least a portion of the zippered opening;   a right web extending across at least a portion of the right panel and configured such that when the zippered opening is not closed and the front panel is pivoted outwardly relative to the bottom panel, the left web is raised above at least a portion of the zippered opening.   
     
     
         22 . The travel pouch of  claim 21 , wherein at least one of the left web and the right web limits the opening of the front panel relative to the bottom panel. 
     
     
         23 . The travel pouch of  claim 22 , wherein the opening of the front panel relative to the bottom panel is such as to create a substantially flat floor consisting of the bottom panel and the front panel.
