Abstract

There is disclosed a method of operating a wireless device in a radio access network, the wireless device being configured with a slot configuration according to which a slot has multiple subslots. The method includes transmitting acknowledgement information reporting on subject transmission in a subslot based on a received timing indication indicating a subslot for transmitting the acknowledgement information, the timing indication being indicative of a subslot of a set of available subslots. Related methods and devices are also disclosed.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method of operating a wireless device in a radio access network, the wireless device being configured with a slot configuration according to which a slot has multiple subslots, the method comprising:
transmitting acknowledgement information reporting on subject transmission in a subslot based on a received timing indication indicating a subslot for transmitting the acknowledgement information, the timing indication being indicative of a subslot of a set of available subslots.

2 . A wireless device for a radio access network, the wireless device configured to be:
configured with a slot configuration according to which a slot has multiple subslots; and transmit acknowledgement information reporting on subject transmission in a subslot based on a received timing indication indicating a subslot for transmitting the acknowledgement information, the timing indication being indicative of a subslot of a set of available subslots.

3 . A method of operating a network node in a radio access network, the method comprising:
receiving acknowledgement information from a wireless device based on a slot configuration according to which a slot has multiple subslots, the acknowledgement information being received based on a subslot indicated with a timing indication indicating a subslot for transmitting the acknowledgement information, the timing indication being indicative of a subslot of a set of available subslots.

4 . A network node for a radio access network, the network node configured to:
receive acknowledgement information from a wireless device based on a slot configuration according to which a slot has multiple subslots, the acknowledgement information being received based on a subslot indicated with a timing indication indicating a subslot for transmitting the acknowledgement information, the timing indication being indicative of a subslot of a set of available subslots.

5 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the acknowledgement information is transmitted based on TDD operation.

6 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the set of available subslots consists of subslots in slots configured for uplink transmission.

7 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the set of available subslots consists of subslots for which a resource for transmitting uplink control information has been configured.

8 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the set of available subslots consists of subslots that are arranged periodically in time.

9 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the timing indication is included in a control information message, which may be devoid of a timing indication explicitly indicating a slot for transmission of the acknowledgement information.

10 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the timing indication has a size in bits dependent on the number of elements of the set of available subslots.

11 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the set of available subslots consists of subslots in a reporting time interval.

12 . A computer storage medium storing a computer program comprising instructions configured to cause processing circuitry to at least one of control and perform a method of operating a wireless device in a radio access network, the wireless device being configured with a slot configuration according to which a slot has multiple subslots, the method comprising:
transmitting acknowledgement information reporting on subject transmission in a subslot based on a received timing indication indicating a subslot for transmitting the acknowledgement information, the timing indication being indicative of a subslot of a set of available subslots.

         13 . (canceled)

14 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the acknowledgement information is transmitted based on TDD operation.

15 . The method according to claim 14 , wherein the set of available subslots consists of subslots in slots configured for uplink transmission.

16 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the set of available subslots consists of subslots in slots configured for uplink transmission.

17 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the set of available subslots consists of subslots for which a resource for transmitting uplink control information has been configured.

18 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the set of available subslots consists of subslots that are arranged periodically in time.

19 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the timing indication is included in a control information message, which may be devoid of a timing indication explicitly indicating a slot for transmission of the acknowledgement information.

20 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the timing indication has a size in bits dependent on the number of elements of the set of available subslots.

21 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the set of available subslots consists of subslots in a reporting time interval.
