Insulated Garment Fabric Device
Abstract
The present invention relates generally to the field of garment fabrics. More specifically, the present invention relates to an insulated garment fabric device comprised of a front layer, a rear layer and a middle layer between the front and rear layer. The front and rear layers are preferably manufactured from a fabric material. The middle layer is preferably manufactured from an insulated material such as, but not limited to, biaxially-oriented polyethylene terephthalate or heat conducting-foil. The front and rear layers may further be comprised of indicia and may be infused with a plurality of compounds. In addition, the device is comprised of a method of manufacture and use, wherein the device can be used to make garments and other objects such as, but not limited to: blankets.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An insulated garment fabric device comprising:
a front layer; a middle layer; and a rear layer.
2 . The insulated garment fabric device of claim 1 , wherein the front layer is manufactured from a first fabric material.
3 . The insulated garment fabric device of claim 1 , wherein the rear layer is manufactured from a second fabric material, and further wherein the first fabric material is different than the second fabric material.
4 . The insulated garment fabric device of claim 1 , wherein the middle layer is manufactured from an insulated material.
5 . An insulated garment fabric device comprising:
a front layer manufactured from a first fabric material; a rear layer manufactured from a second fabric material; a middle layer between the front layer and the rear layer, wherein the middle layer is manufactured from an insulated material; and a fastener.
6 . The insulated garment fabric device of claim 5 , wherein the first fabric material of the front layer is selected from a group consisting of a vinyl, a canvas, a cashmere, a chenille, a chiffon, a cotton, a damask, a jersey, a lace, a linen, a wool, a modal, a polyester, a satin, a silk, a spandex, a suede, a tweed, a twill, a velvet, an acrylic, a modacrylic, a nylon, a polypropylene, a polyurethane, a polyvinyl chloride, a polyethylene, a vinylidene, a benzoate, an aramid, a rayon, an acetate and a triacetate fabric.
7 . The insulated garment fabric device of claim 5 , wherein the second fabric material of the rear layer is selected from a group consisting of a vinyl, a canvas, a cashmere, a chenille, a chiffon, a cotton, a damask, a jersey, a lace, a linen, a wool, a modal, a polyester, a satin, a silk, a spandex, a suede, a tweed, a twill, a velvet, an acrylic, a modacrylic, a nylon, a polypropylene, a polyurethane, a polyvinyl chloride, a polyethylene, a vinylidene, a benzoate, an aramid, a rayon, an acetate and a triacetate fabric.
8 . The insulated garment fabric device of claim 5 , wherein each of the front layer and the rear layer are waterproof.
9 . The insulated garment fabric device of claim 5 , wherein the front layer and the rear layer are infused with at least one of a moisturizer, an anti-bacterial compound and a sunscreen.
10 . The insulated garment fabric device of claim 5 , wherein the insulated material of the middle layer is manufactured from a group consisting of a biaxially-oriented polyethylene terephthalate, a heat conducting-foil, a thermal insulation, a wool, a natural fiber, a natural down, a synthetic down or a plastic material.
11 . The insulated garment fabric device of claim 5 , wherein the fastener secures the middle layer to each of the front layer and the rear layer.
12 . The insulated garment fabric device of claim 5 , wherein the fastener secures the front layer to the rear layer.
13 . The insulated garment fabric device of claim 5 , wherein the fastener is a select one of a hook and loop fastener, a snap-button fastener, an adhesive fastener, a tie fastener and a stitch fastener.
14 . The insulated garment fabric device of claim 5 , wherein the front layer is comprised of a first indicia.
15 . The insulated garment fabric device of claim 5 , wherein the rear layer is comprised of a second indicia.
16 . A method of manufacturing an insulated garment fabric device, the method comprising the steps of:
positioning a middle layer between a front layer and a rear layer; securing the front layer to the rear layer via a fastener; and using the middle layer, the front layer and the rear layer to create the insulated garment fabric device.
17 . The method of claim 16 further comprising a step of using the fastener to secure the middle layer to each of the front layer and the rear layer.
18 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the fastener is a select one of a hook and loop fastener, a snap-button fastener, an adhesive fastener, a tie fastener and a stitch fastener.
19 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the garment is from a group consisting of: a hat, a short sleeve shirt, a long sleeve shirt, a crewneck, a jacket, a coat, a sweater, a cardigan, a turtleneck, a pullover, a hoodie, a button-down shirt, a tank top, a crop top, an undershirt, a robe, a shawl, a pant, a short, an underwear, a thermal underwear, or a sock.
20 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the insulated garment fabric device is a select one of a scarf, a face mask, a balaclava, a bandana, a glove, a shoe, a blanket, a throw, a pillowcase and a sheet.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
