Bed Sheet Holster Assembly

Abstract

A bed sheet holster assembly for storing a firearm on a mattress includes a fitted bed sheet that has elastic corners for positioning over a mattress. A pair of pouches is each coupled to the fitted bed sheet to store objects for a user of the mattress. A pair of holsters is each coupled to the fitted bed sheet to hold a firearm. In this way a user of the mattress can access the firearm while the user is sleeping.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A bed sheet holster assembly for storing a firearm on a mattress, said assembly comprising:
 a fitted bed sheet having elastic corners wherein said fitted bed sheet is configured to be positioned over a mattress;   a pair of pouches, each of said pouches being coupled to said fitted bed sheet wherein each of said pouches is configured to store objects for a user of the mattress; and   a pair of holsters, each of said holsters being coupled to said fitted bed sheet wherein each of said holsters is configured to hold a firearm thereby facilitating the user of the mattress to access the firearm while the user is sleeping.   
     
     
         2 . The assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 said fitted bed sheet having a first lateral side, a second lateral side and a back side wherein said back side is configured to be aligned with a headboard when said bed sheet is positioned on the mattress, said fitted sheet having a top surface and a bottom surface; and   each of said pouches having a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a bottom edge and a top edge, each of said first lateral edge, said second lateral edge and said bottom edge of each of said pouches being coupled to said top surface of said fitted sheet, said top edge of each of said pouches being free from said top surface of said fitted sheet to define an opening into each of said pouches, each of said pouches being positioned on a respective one of said first lateral side and said second lateral side of said fitted sheet, each of said pouches being positioned adjacent to said back side of said fitted bed sheet.   
     
     
         3 . The assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 said fitted bed sheet has a first lateral side, a second lateral side and a back side wherein said back side is configured to be aligned with a headboard when said bed sheet is positioned on the mattress, said fitted sheet having a top surface and a bottom surface; and   each of said holsters has a first sidelong edge, a second sidelong edge, an upper edge and a lower edge, each of said first sidelong edge, said second sidelong edge and said lower edge of each of said holsters being coupled to said top surface of said fitted sheet, said upper edge of each of said holsters being free from said top surface to define an opening into each of said holsters.   
     
     
         4 . The assembly according to  claim 3 , wherein said upper edge of each of said holsters angles downwardly between said first sidelong edge and said second sidelong edge wherein each of said holsters is configured to expose a grip of the firearm when the firearm is positioned in one of said holsters.

The assembly according to  claim 3 , wherein each of said holsters is positioned on said back side of said fitted sheet, each of said holsters being positioned adjacent to a respective one of said first lateral side and said second lateral side of said fitted bed sheet, said holsters being oriented such that said second sidelong side of said holsters is directed toward each other. 
     
     
         6 . The assembly according to  claim 1 , further comprising a pair of panels, each of said panels having a first surface, each of said panels being coupled to a bottom surface of said fitted sheet having said first surface abutting said bottom surface, each of said panels being aligned with a respective one of said holsters, each of said panels being comprised of a rigid material wherein each of said panels is configured to inhibit said bed sheet from being deformed by the weight of the firearm in said respective holster. 
     
     
         7 . A bed sheet holster assembly for storing a firearm on a mattress, said assembly comprising:
 a fitted bed sheet having elastic corners wherein said fitted bed sheet is configured to be positioned over a mattress, said fitted bed sheet having a first lateral side, a second lateral side and a back side wherein said back side is configured to be aligned with a headboard when said bed sheet is positioned on the mattress, said fitted sheet having a top surface and a bottom surface;   a pair of pouches, each of said pouches being coupled to said fitted bed sheet wherein each of said pouches is configured to store objects for a user of the mattress, each of said pouches having a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a bottom edge and a top edge, each of said first lateral edge, said second lateral edge and said bottom edge of each of said pouches being coupled to said top surface of said fitted sheet, said top edge of each of said pouches being free from said top surface of said fitted sheet to define an opening into each of said pouches, each of said pouches being positioned on a respective one of said first lateral side and said second lateral side of said fitted sheet, each of said pouches being positioned adjacent to said back side of said fitted bed sheet;   a pair of holsters, each of said holsters being coupled to said fitted bed sheet wherein each of said holsters is configured to hold a firearm thereby facilitating the user of the mattress to access the firearm while the user is sleeping, each of said holsters having a first sidelong edge, a second sidelong edge, an upper edge and a lower edge, each of said first sidelong edge, said second sidelong edge and said lower edge of each of said holsters being coupled to said top surface of said fitted sheet, said upper edge of each of said holsters being free from said top surface to define an opening into each of said holsters, said upper edge of each of said holsters angling downwardly between said first sidelong edge and said second sidelong edge wherein each of said holsters is configured to expose a grip of the firearm when the firearm is positioned in one of said holsters, each of said holsters being positioned on said back side of said fitted sheet, each of said holsters being positioned adjacent to a respective one of said first lateral side and said second lateral side of said fitted bed sheet, said holsters being oriented such that said second sidelong side of said holsters is directed toward each other; and   a pair of panels, each of said panels having a first surface, each of said panels being coupled to said bottom surface of said fitted sheet having said first surface abutting said bottom surface, each of said panels being aligned with a respective one of said holsters, each of said panels being comprised of a rigid material wherein each of said panels is configured to inhibit said bed sheet from being deformed by the weight of the firearm in said respective holster.
