Cut crease creator makeup tools, kits and methods
Abstract
A kit for applying makeup includes a tool having a handle and an eyecup attached to the handle. A plurality of guide attachments are configured to releasably engage the eyecup, each defining a different contoured edge. A method of applying makeup includes selecting a guide attachment based upon a contoured edge of the guide attachment, engaging the guide attachment with an eyecup of a tool, positioning the tool relative to a first eye such that the contoured edge of the guide attachment is positioned adjacent to a crease of an eye socket between a top of an eyelid and a bottom of a brow bone of the first eye, and applying makeup to the first eye following the contoured edge of the guide attachment such that the makeup is applied to the first eye as an arc shaped similar to the contoured edge of the guide attachment.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A guide attachment for facilitating application of makeup, the guide attachment comprising:
a solid continuous surface formed by:
a first lateral side;
a second lateral side;
a bottom flat side between bottoms of the first and second lateral sides; and
a top contoured edge between tops of the first and second lateral sides having a convex curvature proximate the first lateral side,
wherein the solid continuous surface is configured to cover an eye of a user from a bottom of the eye to a lower end of a crease of the eye when applying the makeup.
2 . The guide attachment according to claim 1 , wherein the guide attachment is reversible.
3 . The guide attachment according to claim 2 , wherein a front side of the guide attachment is configured to facilitate application of makeup to one eye, and
wherein a rear side of the guide attachment is configured to facilitate application of makeup to an opposite eye.
4 . The guide attachment according to claim 1 , wherein the guide attachment includes indicia indicating different sides thereof or indicia indicating a configuration of the contoured edge thereof.
5 . The guide attachment according to claim 1 , wherein the guide attachment includes a first guide attachment and a second guide attachment that form a guide attachment pair,
wherein one guide attachment in each guide attachment pair is configured to facilitate application of makeup to a left eye, and the other guide attachment in each guide attachment pair is configured to facilitate application of makeup to a right eye, and wherein the first and second guide attachments in each guide attachment pair define mirror-image configurations from each other.
6 . The guide attachment according to claim 1 , wherein the top contoured edge of the guide attachment has a winged-shape and an apex disposed toward the second lateral side.
7 . The guide attachment according to claim 1 , wherein the guide attachment further comprises a sleeve configured to receive an eyecup of a makeup tool therein to releasably engage the sleeve about the eyecup.
8 . The guide attachment according to claim 7 , wherein the eyecup includes a concave front surface configured to be positioned on the eye.
9 . The guide attachment according to claim 1 , wherein the guide attachment further comprises a guide panel defining a recess configured to at least partially receive an eyecup of a makeup tool therein to releasably engage the guide panel on the eyecup.
10 . The guide attachment according to claim 1 , wherein the top contoured edge includes an adjacent concave curvature disposed proximate the second lateral side.
11 . The guide attachment according to claim 1 , wherein the top contoured edge has a round arc-shape.
12 . The guide attachment according to claim 1 , wherein the top contoured edge has an elongated arc-shape.
13 . A method for facilitating application of makeup, the method comprising:
placing a guide attachment to cover an eye of a user from a bottom of the eye to a lower end of a crease of the eye, wherein the guide attachment includes a solid continuous surface formed by:
a first lateral side;
a second lateral side;
a bottom flat side between bottoms of the first and second lateral sides; and
a top contoured edge between tops of the first and second lateral sides having a convex curvature proximate the first lateral side; and
applying a makeup over the crease of the eye and the top contoured edge.
14 . The method for claim 13 , further comprising:
reversing the guide attachment; placing the reversed guide attachment to cover the other eye of the user from a bottom of the other eye to a lower end of a crease of the other eye; and applying the makeup over a crease of the other eye.
15 . The method of claim 14 , wherein the guide attachment is reversible.
16 . The method of claim 13 , wherein a front side of the guide attachment is configured to facilitate application of makeup to the eye, and
wherein a rear side of the guide attachment is configured to facilitate application of makeup to the other eye.
17 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the guide attachment includes indicia indicating different sides thereof or indicia indicating a configuration of the contoured edge thereof.
18 . The method for claim 13 , wherein the guide attachment is releasably attached to a makeup tool with a handle to facilitate application of the makeup.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
