Systems and methods for personalized dining and individualized ordering by associating electronic device with dining session
Abstract
Systems and methods are disclosed for managing personalized dining checks created by individualized ordering enabled by associating mobile devices of patrons and waiters with table indicia. One method includes: receiving information identifying the user devices of one or more patrons and information identifying a table indicia as a result of associating the user devices of the one or more patrons with a table indicia; initiating a dining session based on information identifying user devices and information identifying a table indicia; receiving requests for dining items and transaction amounts for the dining items from the user devices, each request including information identifying the user device and the table indicia; receiving information confirming the delivery of dining items to the patrons; determining final transaction amount for the requested dining items; sending final transaction amount to the user devices and enabling the user devices to send a payment authorization; receiving a payment transaction authorization from the user devices to transact funds to pay for the final transaction amount using predetermined payment methods; and processing the payment transaction using the payment transaction authorization.

21 . A method comprising:
performing a first association, by a mobile device of a customer service representative, of the mobile device of the customer service representative with an indicia of a service location to cause an order of a patron of the service location to be transmitted to a service device; receiving, by the mobile device of the customer service representative, information of the order being ready from the service device; and performing a second association, by the mobile device of the customer service representative, of the mobile device of the customer service representative with the indicia of the service location to cause a check for the order to be transmitted to a mobile device of the patron.
22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the first association or the second association includes scanning a bar code of the indicia with the mobile device of the customer service representative.
23 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the first association or the second association includes entering information identifying or related to the mobile device of the customer service representative into the indicia.
24 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the first association or the second association includes entering information identifying or related to the indicia into the mobile device of the customer service representative.
25 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the first association or the second association includes pressing a button on the mobile device of the customer service representative.
26 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising:
specifying, by the mobile device of the customer service representative, whether the order should be prioritized over other orders.
27 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising:
specifying, by the mobile device of the customer service representative, whether the order should be prepared immediately.
28 . A mobile device of a customer service representative, the mobile device comprising:
a memory configured to store instructions; and a processor configured to execute the instructions to perform operations comprising: performing a first association of the mobile device of the customer service representative with an indicia of a service location to cause an order of a patron of the service location to be transmitted to a service device; receiving information of the order being ready from the service device; and performing a second association of the mobile device of the customer service representative with the indicia of the service location to cause a check for the order to be transmitted to a mobile device of the patron.
29 . The mobile device of claim 28 , wherein the first association or the second association includes scanning a bar code of the indicia with the mobile device of the customer service representative.
30 . The mobile device of claim 28 , wherein the first association or the second association includes entering information identifying or related to the mobile device of the customer service representative into the indicia.
31 . The mobile device of claim 28 , wherein the first association or the second association includes entering information identifying or related to the indicia into the mobile device of the customer service representative.

35 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by a processor of a mobile device of a customer service representative, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:
performing a first association of the mobile device of the customer service representative with an indicia of a service location to cause an order of a patron of the service location to be transmitted to a service device; receiving information of the order being ready from the service device; and performing a second association of the mobile device of the customer service representative with the indicia of the service location to cause a check for the order to be transmitted to a mobile device of the patron.
36 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 35 , wherein the first association or the second association includes scanning a bar code of the indicia with the mobile device of the customer service representative.
37 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 35 , wherein the first association or the second association includes entering information identifying or related to the mobile device of the customer service representative into the indicia.
