Abstract
The invention concerns the field of roof devices for opening roofs. In particular, the invention concerns a roof device comprising sliding roof panels which are configured so as to be movable along a rail system. The invention also concerns an opening roof comprising the movable roof device. The invention also concerns the use of the roof device in a roof. The invention furthermore also concerns a method for opening and closing the roof device.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A roof device for an opening roof comprising:
a plurality of stackable panels configured to be movable along a rail system, wherein the panels comprise a connection element and a connection point, wherein the connection element of each panel is configured for repeatable coupling to and decoupling from the connection point of an adjacent panel, on coupling, the adjacent panels configured to lie aligned in the same plane, and on decoupling, the adjacent panels configured to be stacked one above the other; and a clip or a roller bearing attached to an end of the connection element, the connection point, or a combination thereof, wherein the clip or the roller bearing is configured, during coupling, to come into contact with at least one of an end of the connection point and the connection element of the adjacent panel and limit the friction between the connection element and the connection point.
2 . The roof device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the end of at least one of the connection element and the connection point comprises a sliding clip configured for slidable coupling or a roller bearing configured for rollable coupling.
3 . The roof device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the coupling of the connection point to the connection element forms a gutter suitable for lateral water drainage.
4 . The roof device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the connection point forms a stop, and wherein the connection element forms a hook which can engage in or attach to the connection point.
5 . The roof device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the connection point comprises an upwardly pointing body which extends laterally from a panel wall.
6 . The roof device as claimed in claim 5 , wherein an end of the upwardly pointing body of the connection point is curved so that at least part of said body extends back in the direction of the panel wall.
7 . The roof device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the connection element comprises a downwardly pointing body which extends laterally from a panel wall.
8 . The roof device as claimed in claim 7 , wherein an end of the downwardly pointing body of the connection element is curved so that at least part of said body extends back in the direction of the panel wall.

The roof device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein at least one of the connection element and the connection point comprises a body at least partially bent in order to form a curved surface with a shape which at least partially corresponds to a shape of an adjacent connection point or connection element.
10 . The roof device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein at least one panel comprises at least one stiffening element which is configured so as to support an adjacent panel.
11 . The roof device as claimed in claim 10 , wherein at least one stiffening element comprises an upwardly pointing body which extends laterally from a front or rear panel wall.
12 . The roof device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the coupling and/or decoupling of adjacent panels sequentially follows the stacking order of the panels.
13 . The roof device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the rail system is a single-track rail system, wherein the panels move along the same plane.
14 . The roof device ( 100 ) as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the rail system is a multi-track rail system, wherein the panels move along different planes.
15 . An opening roof for a terrace covering, comprising a roof device comprising:
a plurality of stackable panels-configured to be movable along a rail system, wherein the panels comprise a connection element and a connection point, wherein the connection element of each panel is configured for repeatable coupling to and decoupling from the connection point of an adjacent panel, on coupling, the adjacent panels configured to lie aligned in the same plane, and on decoupling, the adjacent panels configured to be stacked one above the other; and a clip or a roller bearing attached to an end of the connection element, the connection point, or a combination thereof, wherein the clip or the roller bearing is configured, during coupling, to come into contact with at least one of an end of the connection point and the connection element of the adjacent panel and limit the friction between the connection element and the connection point.
16 . The roof device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the coupling of the connection point to the connection element forms an intermediate space suitable for receiving a light-emitting element.
17 . The roof device as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the stiffening element is arranged on a connection element of the panel and is configured to support the connection point of the adjacent panel.
18 . The roof device as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the upwardly pointing body of the stiffening element stands perpendicularly on the top panel wall or the connection element.
19 . The roof device as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the stiffening element comprises an L-shaped angled profile.
20 . The roof device as claimed in claim 13 , wherein the panels move sequentially next to each other.
21 . The roof device as claimed in claim 14 , wherein the different planes are parallel planes.
