Abstract

Disclosed is a quality controlled artificial eyelashes extension system having a method and materials for the application of artificial lash hairs onto existing natural eyelashes of a human subject to extend the length of the natural eyelash. The system provides the training and materials to attach the eyelash extensions on a hair-by hair basis to a subject's existing natural eyelash, as well as a quality control feature which provides for assuring that practitioners of the system are appropriately trained, and the consumable materials utilized by the system are safe for human use. Included in the system is a fluent eyelash glue which forms a flexible, bio-compatible bond between two hairs to be adhered together.

1 . An eyelash extension, comprising:
 a single artificial eyelash hair bonded with an adhesive composition, wherein the single artificial eyelash hair is configured to be adhered to a single natural hair, and wherein the adhesive composition consists of:
 a glue, wherein the glue is an ethoxyethyl cyanoacrylate; 
 a thickening agent which adapts the eyelash extension adhesive to have a viscosity between 800 and 2000 cP at room temperature; 
 a ductility agent, wherein the ductility agent is urethane rubber; and 
 a pigment. 
   
     
     
         2 . A flexible bond with an eyelash hair, wherein the flexible bond with the eyelash hair comprises:
 the eyelash hair, wherein the eyelash hair is a single artificial eyelash hair; and   the flexible bond, wherein the flexible bond is formed from a flexible when cured, cyanoacrylate eyelash glue, the glue being a liquid adhesive composition having a black pigment adapted to match a color of said hair, a viscosity agent adapting the eyelash glue to have a viscosity between 800 and 2000 cP at room temperature, and a ductility agent, wherein the ductility agent is urethane rubber.   
     
     
         3 . An individual eyelash hair extension comprising:
 a single individual artificial eyelash hair configured to be adhered to a single natural hair; and   an adhesive bond, wherein the adhesive bond is bonded to the single individual artificial eyelash hair, the adhesive bond being non-crumbly/flaky and flexible relative to the artificial eyelash hair and having a bond durability such that the bond is bonded to the single individual artificial eyelash hair, and wherein the adhesive bond is formed from an adhesive composition comprising:   a cyanoacrylate glue compound;   a pigment;   a thickening agent which adapts the eyelash extension adhesive to have a viscosity between 800 and 2000 cP at room temperature; and   a ductility agent, wherein the ductility agent is urethane rubber.   
     
     
         4 . The flexible bond of  claim 2  wherein the flexible bond is bio-compatible. 
     
     
         5 . The extension of  claim 3  wherein the bond is bio-compatible. 
     
     
         6 . The extension of  claim 1  wherein the adhesive composition yields a bond that is bio-compatible.
