Abstract

A method for managing a radio link in an unlicensed band is provided. An apparatus attempts to receive a discovery reference signal (DRS) in a serving cell that is operated in the unlicensed band. The apparatus determines that a radio link to the serving cell has failed if the DRS is not received for a predetermined time.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method for performing a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) measurement in a wireless communication system, the method performed by a user equipment (UE) and comprising:
 receiving, from a network, configuration information; and   performing the RSSI measurement based on the configuration information,   wherein the configuration information informs a specific beam, which is a target of the RSSI measurement, among a plurality of beams,   wherein the UE performs the RSSI measurement for the specific beam in an unlicensed band based on the configuration information.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the specific beam is a region related to at least one a synchronization signal block (SSB) or a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS). 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the specific beam is a reception (RX) beam. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the specific beam is an analog beam. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the UE transmits a report of a result of the RSSI measurement. 
     
     
         6 . A user equipment (UE) comprising:
 a transceiver;   at least one memory; and   at least one processor being operatively connected to the at least one memory and the transceiver,   wherein the at least one processor is configured to:   control the transceiver to receive, from a network, configuration information; and   perform a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) measurement based on the configuration information,   wherein the configuration information informs a specific beam, which is a target of the RSSI measurement, among a plurality of beams,   wherein the UE performs the RSSI measurement for the specific beam in an unlicensed band based on the configuration information.   
     
     
         7 . The UE of  claim 6 , wherein the specific beam is a region related to at least one a synchronization signal block (SSB) or a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS). 
     
     
         8 . The UE of  claim 6 , wherein the specific beam is a reception (RX) beam. 
     
     
         9 . The UE of  claim 6 , wherein the specific beam is an analog beam. 
     
     
         10 . The UE of  claim 6 , wherein the UE transmits a report of a result of the RSSI measurement.
