Abstract

A communication system capable of a stable communication operation between a base station device and a communication terminal device. A UE is configured to communicate with an MeNB directly or through a SeNB. The UE is set to transmit, to the MeNB and the SeNB, transmission data addressed to the MeNB when an amount of the transmission data exceeds a predetermined threshold. The UE is set to transmit the transmission data not to the SeNB but to the MeNB when the amount is smaller than or equal to the threshold. The threshold is changed so that the transmission data is transmitted to the MeNB and the SeNB, when the SeNB is set to communicate with the UE with radio resources periodically allocated and the amount of the transmission data is smaller than or equal to the threshold.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A communication system comprising:
at least one base station; and a user equipment configured to perform radio communication with the base station, wherein the communication system supports semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) in which a radio resource is semi-persistently allocated to the user equipment, and wherein the base station transmits, to the user equipment, configuration information that configures not to disable uplink semi-persistent scheduling configured to the user equipment.

2 . The communication system according to claim 1 ,
wherein the at least one base station including a master base station and a secondary base station in dual connectivity, wherein the master base station and the secondary base station communicate with each other using X2 signaling, and wherein the secondary base station transmits the configuration information via the master base station to the user equipment.

3 . A base station in a communication system comprising at least one base station and a user equipment configured to perform radio communication with the base station,
wherein the communication system supports semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) in which a radio resource is semi-persistently allocated to the user equipment, and wherein the base station transmits, to the user equipment, configuration information that configures not to disable uplink semi-persistent scheduling configured to the user equipment.

4 . A user equipment in a communication system comprising at least one base station and the user equipment configured to perform radio communication with the base station,
wherein the communication system supports semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) in which a radio resource is semi-persistently allocated to the user equipment, and wherein the user equipment receives, from the base station, configuration information that configures not to disable uplink semi-persistent scheduling configured to the user equipment.
