Abstract

A nutrition management system including a patient mobile application stored on non-transitory computer-readable media in electronic communication with a home nutrient-testing device, and a dietitian's software stored on non-transitory computer-readable media in electronic communication with the patient mobile application. A method of nutrition management, by a patient testing their nutrition levels on a home nutrient-testing device and creating personalized daily dietary recommendations on a meal-by-meal basis for the patient based on results from the home nutrient-testing device. A kitchen device for creating hot and cold meals or drinks, including an ingredient chamber, an interface screen in electronic communication with said ingredient chamber, and an accessible preparation chamber in operable connection with said ingredient chamber and in electronic communication with the interface screen, the kitchen device being in electronic communication with a patient mobile application stored on non-transitory computer-readable media. A method of using the kitchen device.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A nutrition management system, comprising:
 a patient mobile application stored on non-transitory computer-readable media in electronic communication with a home nutrient-testing device; and   a dietitian's software stored on non-transitory computer-readable media in electronic communication with said patient mobile application.   
     
     
         2 . The nutrition management system of  claim 1 , wherein said patient mobile application includes menus unique to a patient chosen from the group consisting of breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks, dessert, and combinations thereof. 
     
     
         3 . The nutrition management system of  claim 2 , wherein said menus include recipes for hot meals, cold meals, and drinks. 
     
     
         4 . The nutrition management system of  claim 1 , wherein said patient mobile application further includes a grocery module for generating grocery lists and tracking ingredients and includes access to online grocery services. 
     
     
         5 . The nutrition management system of  claim 1 , wherein said patient mobile application further includes a menu module including menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks, and desserts. 
     
     
         6 . The nutrition management system of  claim 5 , wherein said menus are updated in real time based on a patient's previous menu choices to provide said patient with needed daily nutrients. 
     
     
         7 . The nutrition management system of  claim 1 , wherein said patient mobile application further includes a tracking module for sending the patient's daily screening results and menu selection to said dietitian's software. 
     
     
         8 . The nutrition management system of  claim 1 , further including a communication module in electronic communication with the patient mobile application and dietitian software for sending the patient's dietary progress to medical professionals. 
     
     
         9 . The nutrition management system of  claim 1 , wherein said patient mobile application further includes an alert module for sending alerts or warnings to said dietitian's software. 
     
     
         10 . A kitchen device for creating meals and drinks, comprising an ingredient chamber, an interface screen in electronic communication with said ingredient chamber, and an accessible preparation chamber in operable connection with said ingredient chamber and in electronic communication with said interface screen, the kitchen device being in electronic communication with a patient mobile application stored on non-transitory computer-readable media. 
     
     
         11 . The kitchen device of  claim 10 , wherein said ingredient chamber includes recipe ingredients in cartridges. 
     
     
         12 . The kitchen device of  claim 10 , further including a light operatively attached to said kitchen device indicating said kitchen device is in use and a ready light operatively attached to said kitchen device indicating that an item is ready to eat. 
     
     
         13 . The kitchen device of  claim 10 , wherein said accessible preparation chamber is able to perform a function chosen from the group consisting of measuring ingredients, adding water to ingredients, mixing ingredients, blending ingredients, and combinations thereof. 
     
     
         14 . A method of using a kitchen device for creating meals and drinks including the steps of:
 the kitchen device communicating with a patient mobile application including menus and determining available items;   selecting an available item, and   preparing the meal or drink within a preparation chamber.   
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 14 , wherein the available item is chosen from the group consisting of a menu, a recipe, or an item. 
     
     
         16 . The method of  claim 14 , further including the step of displaying a selected item on an interface screen of the kitchen device and the patient mobile application. 
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 14 , further including the step of alerting a patient to change a cartridge if an ingredient is missing from an ingredient chamber. 
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 14 , further including a step chosen from the group consisting of the patient searching for an alternative item, the patient declining the item, and the patient ordering a replacement for the missing ingredient. 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 14 , wherein said preparing step further includes a step chosen from the group consisting of measuring ingredients, adding water to ingredients, mixing ingredients, blending ingredients, and combinations thereof. 
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 18 , further including the step of notifying that the item is ready by a method chosen from the group consisting of sound, light, and combinations thereof. 
     
     
         21 . The method of  claim 18 , further including the steps of electronically communicating that an item has been eaten with the patient mobile application, and electronically communicating that an item has not been eaten with the patient mobile application and alerting a dietitian's software. 
     
     
         22 . A method of metabolic recovery of a patient through alteration of their diet, including the steps of:
 inputting patient nutrition levels into patient software;   controlling the patient's diet by dietitian's software;   producing meals based on the diet.
