Abstract
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a mobile performance system, and methods of making and using such a mobile performance system, whereby the mobile performance system includes: a frame; a front wheel coupled to the frame proximate a frame front end; a pair of rear wheels coupled to the frame proximate a frame rear end; a drive mechanism coupled to the frame, the drive mechanism operable to drive travel of the mobile performance system along a travel path; a steering assembly coupled to the frame, the steering assembly operable to steer the mobile performance system along the travel path; and a platform coupled to the frame, the platform adapted to support a performer performing a performance while the mobile performance system travels along the travel path.

supporting a performer performing a performance with a mobile performance system comprising: a frame; a front wheel coupled to said frame proximate a frame front end; a pair of rear wheels coupled to said frame proximate a frame rear end; a drive mechanism coupled to said frame, said drive mechanism operable to drive travel of said mobile performance system along a travel path; a steering assembly coupled to said frame, said steering assembly operable to steer said mobile performance system along said travel path; and a platform coupled to said frame, said platform adapted to support said performer performing said performance while said mobile performance system travels along said travel path; and traveling along said travel path while said performance is performed by said performer.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising operating said drive mechanism to drive travel of said mobile performance system along said travel path.
3 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising manually operating said drive mechanism to drive travel of said mobile performance system along said travel path.
4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising manually operating said drive mechanism to drive rotation of said pair of rear wheels via a chain coupled between a chainring and said pair of rear wheels to drive travel of said mobile performance system along said travel path.

The method of claim 4 , further comprising driving rotation of a pair of opposing pedals coupled to said chainring via a corresponding pair of opposing crank arms to drive rotation of said chainring and correspondingly said pair of rear wheels via said chain to drive travel of said mobile performance system along said travel path.
6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising operating said steering assembly to steer said mobile performance system along said travel path.
7 . The method of claim 6 , further comprising pivoting a steering fork pivotally coupled to said frame and fixedly coupled to said front wheel to pivot said front wheel about a pivot axis to steer said mobile performance system along said travel path.
8 . The method of claim 7 , further comprising pivoting said steering fork via a handlebar coupled to said steering fork.
9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising supporting a performance component with a support element coupled to a platform upper surface of said platform.
10 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising supporting said performance component configured as said performer with said support element configured as a performer support element adapted for supporting said performer in a seated position while said mobile performance system travels along said travel path.
11 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising supporting said performance component configured as a musical instrument with said support element configured as a musical instrument support element.
12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising supporting said musical instrument configured as a keyboard with said support element configured as said musical instrument support element.
13 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising amplifying sounds waves generated by said performer during said performance with an acoustic amplifier coupled to said platform.
14 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising displaying a visual image with a visual display element coupled to said platform during said performance performed by said performer.
15 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising displaying said visual image which is associated with said performance during said performance performed by said performer.
16 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising displaying said visual image which comprises part of said performance during said performance performed by said performer.
17 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising displaying said visual image which comprises an advertisement during said performance performed by said performer.
18 . The method of claim 17 , further comprising displaying said advertisement which provides information regarding subsequent performances by said performer during said performance performed by said performer.
19 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising displaying said visual image which comprises an unchanging visual image during said performance performed by said performer.
20 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising displaying said visual image which comprises a changing visual image during said performance performed by said performer.
21 . A mobile performance system comprising:
a frame; a front wheel coupled to said frame proximate a frame front end; a pair of rear wheels coupled to said frame proximate a frame rear end; a drive mechanism coupled to said frame, said drive mechanism operable to drive travel of said mobile performance system along a travel path; a steering assembly coupled to said frame, said steering assembly operable to steer said mobile performance system along said travel path; and a platform coupled to said frame, said platform adapted to support a performer performing a performance while said mobile performance system travels along said travel path.
22 . The mobile performance system of claim 21 , wherein said drive mechanism is configured for operation by an automatic driver.
23 . The mobile performance system of claim 22 , wherein said drive mechanism comprises a drive shaft operatively coupled to a transmission and a motor.
24 . The mobile performance system of claim 21 , wherein said drive mechanism is configured for operation by a manual driver.
25 . The mobile performance system of claim 24 , wherein said drive mechanism comprises:
a chainring rotatably coupled to said frame; and a chain coupled between said chainring and said pair of rear wheels; wherein rotation of said chainring drives rotation of said pair of rear wheels via said chain to drive travel of said mobile performance system along said travel path.
26 . The mobile performance system of claim 25 , further comprising a pair of opposing pedals coupled to said chainring via a corresponding pair of opposing crank arms;
wherein rotation of said pair of opposing pedals drives rotation of said chainring and correspondingly said pair of rear wheels via said chain to drive travel of said mobile performance system along said travel path.
27 . The mobile performance system of claim 21 , wherein said steering assembly is configured for operation by an automatic steerer.
28 . The mobile performance system of claim 21 , wherein said steering assembly is configured for operation by a manual steerer.
29 . The mobile performance system of claim 28 , wherein said steering assembly comprises a steering fork pivotally coupled to said frame and fixedly coupled to said front wheel;
wherein pivoting of said steering fork pivots said front wheel about a pivot axis to steer said mobile performance system along said travel path.
30 . The mobile performance system of claim 29 , further comprising a handlebar coupled to said steering fork.
31 . The mobile performance system of claim 21 , further comprising a braking assembly coupled to at least one of said wheels.
32 . The mobile performance system of claim 21 , further comprising a seat element coupled to said frame.
33 . The mobile performance system of claim 21 , wherein said platform is coupled to said frame proximate a frame rear end.
34 . The mobile performance system of claim 33 , wherein said platform is coupled to said frame between said pair of rear wheels.
35 . The mobile performance system of claim 21 , wherein said platform comprises a platform upper surface which is substantially planar.
36 . The mobile performance system of claim 35 , wherein said platform is bound by at least one platform wall which upwardly extends from said platform upper surface.
37 . The mobile performance system of claim 35 , further comprising a support element coupled to said platform upper surface;
wherein said support element is configured to support a performance component.
38 . The mobile performance system of claim 37 , wherein said support element is configured as a performer support element adapted for supporting said performer in a seated position while said mobile performance system travels along said travel path.
39 . The mobile performance system of claim 37 , wherein said support element is configured as a musical instrument support element.
40 . The mobile performance system of claim 39 , wherein said musical instrument support element is configured to support a keyboard.
41 . The mobile performance system of claim 40 , further comprising said keyboard supported by said musical instrument support element.
42 . The mobile performance system of claim 21 , further comprising at least one acoustic amplifier coupled to said platform;
wherein said acoustic amplifier is configured to amplify sound waves generated by said performer during said performance.
43 . The mobile performance system of claim 21 , further comprising at least one visual display element coupled to said platform;
wherein said visual display element is configured to display a visual image.
44 . The mobile performance system of claim 43 , wherein said visual image is associated with said performance.
45 . The mobile performance system of claim 44 , wherein said visual image comprises part of said performance.
46 . The mobile performance system of claim 44 , wherein said visual image comprises an advertisement.
47 . The mobile performance system of claim 46 , wherein said advertisement provides information regarding subsequent performances by said performer.
48 . The mobile performance system of claim 43 , wherein said visual display element is configured as a liquid-crystal display or a light-emitting diode display.
49 . The mobile performance system of claim 43 , wherein said visual display element displays an unchanging visual image.
50 . The mobile performance system of claim 43 , wherein said visual display element displays a changing visual image.
51 . A method of making a mobile performance system, comprising:
providing a frame; coupling a front wheel to said frame proximate a frame front end; coupling a pair of rear wheels to said frame proximate a frame rear end; coupling a drive mechanism to said frame, said drive mechanism operable to drive travel of said mobile performance system along a travel path; coupling a steering assembly to said frame, said steering assembly operable to steer said mobile performance system along said travel path; and coupling a platform to said frame, said platform adapted to support a performer performing a performance while said mobile performance system travels along said travel path.
52 . The method of claim 51 , further comprising coupling said drive mechanism which is configured for operation by an automatic driver.
53 . The method of claim 52 , further comprising coupling said drive mechanism which comprises a drive shaft operatively coupled to a transmission and a motor.
54 . The method of claim 51 , further comprising coupling said drive mechanism which is configured for operation by a manual driver.
55 . The method of claim 54 , further comprising coupling said drive mechanism which comprises:
a chainring rotatably coupled to said frame; and a chain coupled between said chainring and said pair of rear wheels; wherein rotation of said chainring drives rotation of said pair of rear wheels via said chain to drive travel of said mobile performance system along said travel path.
56 . The method of claim 55 , further comprising coupling a pair of opposing pedals to said chainring via a corresponding pair of opposing crank arms;
wherein rotation of said pair of opposing pedals drives rotation of said chainring and correspondingly said pair of rear wheels via said chain to drive travel of said mobile performance system along said travel path.
57 . The method of claim 51 , further comprising coupling said steering assembly which is configured for operation by an automatic steerer.
58 . The method of claim 51 , further comprising coupling said steering assembly which is configured for operation by a manual steerer.
59 . The method of claim 58 , further comprising coupling said steering assembly which comprises a steering fork pivotally coupled to said frame and fixedly coupled to said front wheel;
wherein pivoting of said steering fork pivots said front wheel about a pivot axis to steer said mobile performance system along said travel path.
60 . The method of claim 59 , further comprising coupling a handlebar to said steering fork.
61 . The method of claim 51 , further comprising coupling a braking assembly to at least one of said wheels.
62 . The method of claim 51 , further comprising coupling a seat element to said frame.
63 . The method of claim 51 , further comprising coupling said platform to said frame proximate a frame rear end.
64 . The method of claim 63 , further comprising coupling said platform to said frame between said pair of rear wheels.
65 . The method of claim 51 , further comprising coupling said platform to said frame, said platform comprising a platform upper surface which is substantially planar.

wherein said musical instrument support element is configured to support a keyboard.

72 . The method of claim 51 , further comprising coupling at least one acoustic amplifier to said platform;
wherein said acoustic amplifier is configured to amplify sound waves generated by said performer during said performance.
73 . The method of claim 51 , further comprising coupling at least one visual display element to said platform;
wherein said visual display element is configured to display a visual image.
74 . The method of claim 73 , further comprising associating said visual image with said performance.
75 . The method of claim 74 , further comprising associating said visual image with said performance;
wherein said visual image comprises part of said performance.
76 . The method of claim 44 , further comprising associating said visual image with said performance;
wherein said visual image comprises an advertisement.
77 . The method of claim 76 , further comprising configuring said advertisement to provide information regarding subsequent performances by said performer.
78 . The method of claim 73 , further comprising coupling at least one said visual display element to said platform;
wherein said visual display element is configured as a liquid-crystal display or a light-emitting diode display.
