Abstract

An apparatus and method of improving hand-eye coordination wherein the present invention includes a throw member that is operable to product a different return trajectory versus a projected trajectory when thrown against a vertical wall. The present invention includes a throw member that is configured to be utilized by a user. The throw member includes a body that is elliptical in shape so as to have circumferential radius that will produce a second trajectory that I s different from that of a first trajectory. The first trajectory occurs when the throw member is hurled at a vertical support surface. Furthermore, the second trajectory is the return trajectory. The method incorporates steps such as but limited to tracking the throw member during its travel on it projected directory and its return trajectory.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A hand-eye coordination apparatus that is operable to improve hand-eye coordination through use thereof wherein the hand-eye coordination apparatus includes:
a throw member, said throw member having a body, said body being manufactured from a resilient material, said body having a shape that will produce a different return trajectory when compared to a projected trajectory; and wherein the throw member is designed to be thrown against a suitable vertical support surface.

2 . The hand-eye coordination apparatus as recited in claim 1 , wherein the throw member is manufactured from rubber.

3 . The hand-eye coordination apparatus as recited in claim 2 , wherein the throw member is elliptical in shape.

4 . A method operable to improve the hand-eye coordination of a user wherein the method comprises the steps of:
providing a throw member, said throw member having a body, said body of said throw member being elliptical in shape, said throw member being manufactured from a resilient material, said throw member operable to be thrown towards a vertical surface; placing a user adjacent the vertical surface, wherein the user will place themselves in front of a vertical surface; grasping the throw member, wherein the user will grasp the throw member in either their left hand or right hand; projecting the throw member, wherein the user will project the throw member towards the vertical surface; tracking the throw member, wherein the user will track the location of the throw member ensuing being thrown towards the vertical surface; positioning a hand, wherein the user will position a hand in order to attempt to catch the throw member as it traverses along its return trajectory; and catching a throw member, wherein the throw member is retained by either a left hand or right hand of the user while the throw member is in its return trajectory.

5 . The method of improving hand-eye coordination as recited in claim 4 , wherein the body of the throw member is manufactured from rubber.

6 . The method of improving hand-eye coordination as recited in claim 5 , wherein the throw member is manufactured from rubber.

7 . The method of improving hand-eye coordination as recited in claim 6 , wherein the body of the throw member is provided in alternate sizes.

8 . The method of improving hand-eye coordination as recited in claim 7 , wherein the body of the throw member is provided in alternate colors.
