Abstract
A 4.3/10 coaxial connector configured to receive a mating 4.3/10 connector includes: an inner contact; a dielectric spacer: and an outer contact, the dielectric spacer separating the inner contact and the outer contact. The outer contact includes an outer wall and a plurality of spring fingers, the spring fingers configured to deflect radially inwardly when the mating 4.3/10 connector is mated. The connector further comprises blocking structure that prevents mating of a Mini-Din connector.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedThat which is claimed is:
1 . A smart pole assembly comprising:
a. a pole structure having a hollow interior; b. a light fixture supported by the pole structure; c. at least one vertical cabling structure extending through the hollow interior of the pole structure, the at least one cabling structure being connectorized at each end; and d. a data-communications module supported by the pole structure and receiving the at least one vertical cabling structure.
2 . The smart pole assembly of claim 1 , wherein the at least one vertical cabling structure includes fiber optic cables.
3 . The smart pole assembly of claim 2 , wherein the fiber optic cables are terminated with hardened multi-fiber optical connectors at each end.
4 . The smart pole assembly of claim 1 , wherein the data-communications module includes at least one data-communication equipment component.
5 . The smart pole assembly of claim 3 , wherein the data-communications module includes one or both of a metro cell and a wireless transceiver.
6 . The smart pole assembly of claim 3 , further comprising at least one connectorized jumper cable removably connecting the at least one data-communication equipment component with the at least one vertical cabling structure.
7 . The smart pole assembly of claim 1 , wherein the at least one cabling structure includes a connectorized DC power cable.
8 . The smart pole assembly of claim 1 , wherein the at least one vertical cabling structure includes a connectorized Category 6 cable.
9 . A smart pole assembly comprising:
a. a pole structure having a hollow interior; b. a light fixture supported by the pole structure; c. a vertical cabling harness extending through the hollow interior of the pole structure, the vertical cabling harness being connectorized at each end; d. a data-communications module supported by the pole structure and receiving the vertical cabling harness; e. a data-communications component supported by or within the data-communications module; and f. a connectorized jumper cable connecting the at least one vertical cabling structure to the at least one data-communications component.
10 . The smart pole assembly of claim 9 , wherein the vertical cabling harness includes fiber optic cables.
11 . The smart pole assembly of claim 9 , wherein the vertical cabling harness includes a connectorized DC power cable.
12 . The smart pole assembly of claim 9 , wherein the vertical cabling harness includes a connectorized Category 6 cable.
13 . The smart pole assembly of claim 10 , wherein the fiber optic cables are terminated with hardened multi-fiber optical connectors at each end.
14 . The smart pole assembly of claim 9 , wherein the data-communications component includes one or both of a metro cell and a wireless transceiver.
15 . A smart pole assembly network comprising:
a. a plurality of smart pole assemblies including: i. a pole structure having a hollow interior; ii. a light fixture supported by the pole structure; iii. at least one vertical cabling structure extending through the hollow interior of the pole structure, the at least one cabling structure being connectorized at each end; and iv. a data-communications module supported by the pole structure and receiving the at least one vertical cabling structure.
16 . The smart pole assembly network of claim 15 , further including a fiber backhaul to which the at least one vertical cabling structure of each of the plurality of smart poles is connected.
17 . The smart pole assembly network of claim 15 , wherein at least one of the plurality of smart pole assemblies includes a metro cell radio/antenna station.
18 . The smart pole assembly network of claim 15 , further including an AC to DC rectifier connected to power cabling of the vertical cabling structure of each smart pole assembly.
19 . The smart pole assembly network of claim 15 , wherein the vertical cabling structure includes one or more of connectorized fiber optic cables, DC power cables, and connectorized Category 6 cables.
20 . The smart pole assembly network of claim 19 , wherein the fiber optic cables are terminated with hardened multi-fiber optical connectors at each end.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
