Abstract

This invention relates to assemblies, components, and methods for application of cosmetic products. For example, a cosmetic applicator wand in the form of an elongated tool including a region for gripping by a user, an enlarged element optionally including a groove, where the wand can be coupled to an applicator. The assemblies are designed to be easy and comfortable to use.

         21 . A cosmetic applicator comprising,
 a shaft coupled to a first end of an applicator tip, wherein a second, generally opposing end of the applicator tip is curved away from a principle axis of the shaft.   
     
     
         22 . The cosmetic applicator as in  claim 21 , wherein the applicator tip includes a through hole configured as a peek or see-through hole. 
     
     
         23 . The cosmetic applicator as in  claim 22 , wherein the peak or see-through hole has a viewing area of at least about 1 cm 2 . 
     
     
         24 . The cosmetic applicator as in  claim 23  wherein the peak or see-through hole has a width or height of at least about 2 mm. 
     
     
         25 . The cosmetic applicator as in  claim 21 , wherein cosmetic applicator is generally symmetric along a reflection plane defined through the principle axis of the shaft. 
     
     
         26 . The cosmetic applicator as in  claim 21 , wherein the applicator is formed of a flexible material. 
     
     
         27 . The cosmetic applicator as in  claim 26 , wherein the flexible material comprises a silicone, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), or any combination thereof. 
     
     
         28 . The cosmetic applicator according to  claim 21  wherein the second end is at least 0.2 cm wide and less than about 1 cm wide. 
     
     
         29 . The cosmetic applicator as in  claim 21 , wherein the second end includes a first surface, a second surface and a third surface, wherein the first surface is opposite to the second surface, and the third surface bridges the first and second surface, the third surface being positioned at the second end of the applicator tip. 
     
     
         30 . The cosmetic applicator as in  claim 21 , wherein the applicator is configured to be removably attached to a holder at the shaft. 
     
     
         31 . The cosmetic applicator as in  claim 30 , wherein the applicator is disposable. 
     
     
         32 . The cosmetic applicator as in  claim 21 , wherein the shaft includes a coupling element. 
     
     
         33 . The cosmetic applicator as in  claim 21 , wherein the coupling element includes a bearing, protrusions, tapers, threads, pins, fasteners, and any a combination thereof. 
     
     
         34 . The cosmetic applicator as in  claim 33 , wherein the coupling element includes a bearing. 
     
     
         35 . The cosmetic applicator as in  claim 21 , wherein the coupling element includes a magnetic material. 
     
     
         36 . An assembly for application of a cosmetic comprising,
 the applicator according to claim  1 , wherein the shaft is coupled to a holder.   
     
     
         37 . The assembly according to  claim 36 , wherein the holder is in the form of an elongated tool. 
     
     
         38 . The assembly according to  claim 36 , wherein the holder has a generally round shape. 
     
     
         39 . The assembly according to  claim 36 , wherein the holder has a generally egg shape. 
     
     
         40 . An elongated tool comprising,
 a stem portion having a first end and a second end, the stem portion including a region configured to be gripped by a user,   an applicator coupling element positioned at the first end of the stem portion, and   an enlarged element positioned generally adjacent to the coupling element.
