Availability based resource scheduling
Abstract
Embodiments are directed to managing resources over a network. One or more resources that are unassigned. Selection models may be generated based on a one or more open appointments or one or more characteristics of one or more clients. The selection models may be employed to determine each client that is qualified to accept one or more invitations to the one or more open appointments. The one or more invitations to accept the one or more open appointments may be provided to the one or more qualified clients based on one or more notification models that define one or more communication modes to communicate the one or more invitations with the one or more candidate clients over a period of time. An open appointment may be reserved based on a qualified client accepting an invitation to the open appointment.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method for managing resources over a network using one or more network computers that include one or more processors that perform actions, comprising:
generating one or more selection models for one or more open appointments based on one or more unassigned resources and one or more characteristics of one or more clients determining a criteria for qualifying each of the one or more clients to receive one or more invitations to the one or more open appointments, wherein geo-location information for each qualified client is employed to select one or more of a time zone, spoken language, financial currency, or calendar format for inclusion in the one or more invitations; employing the criteria and the one or more selection models to provide the one or more invitations to the one or more open appointments to each qualified client; and reserving an open appointment based on a qualified client confirming an acceptance of an invitation to the open appointment.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein determining the criteria further comprises:
including one or more of geographic location, password, personal identification number (PIN), a resource previously assigned to an open appointment accepted by the one or more clients, an organization currently associated with the one or more clients, or calendar availability information for the one or more clients or the one or more resources.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein employing the geo-location information, further comprises:
employing a global positioning systems (GPS) device to provide geolocation information that corresponds to the qualified client.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more selection models further comprise:
one or more machine learning classifiers that are trained with one or more of heuristics, formulas, conditions, instructions, parameters, or state machines.
5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
in response to the qualified client confirming the acceptance of the invitation to the open appointment and before expiry of the period of time, closing the open appointment by assigning the one or more resources and the qualified client to the closed appointment.
6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
in response to expiry of the period of time and non-confirmation by the qualified client for the acceptance of the open appointment, performing further actions, including:
non-reserving the open appointment for the qualified client;
employing the one or more selection models to determine one or more other qualified clients that are qualified to accept one or more invitations to the one or more open appointments; and
providing the one or more invitations to the one or more open appointments to the one or more other qualified clients based on the one or more notification models.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein providing the one or more invitations, further comprises:
employing one or more notification models that define one or more communication modes to communicate the one or more invitations with each qualified client.
8 . A system for managing resources over a network, comprising:
a network computer, comprising:
a memory that stores at least instructions; and
one or more processors that execute instructions that perform actions, including:
generating one or more selection models for one or more open appointments based on one or more unassigned resources and one or more characteristics of one or more clients;
determining a criteria for qualifying each client to receive one or more invitations to the one or more open appointments, wherein geo-location information for each qualified client is employed to select one or more of a time zone, spoken language, financial currency, or calendar format for inclusion in the one or more invitations;
employing the criteria and the one or more selection models to provide the one or more invitations to the one or more open appointments to each qualified client; and
reserving an open appointment based on the qualified client confirming an acceptance of the invitation to the open appointment; and
a client computer, comprising:
another memory that stores at least instructions; and
one or more processors that execute instructions that perform actions, including:
enabling the qualified client to communicate confirmation of the acceptance of the invitation to the open appointment.
9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein determining the criteria further comprises:
including one or more of geographic location, password, personal identification number (PIN), a resource previously assigned to an open appointment accepted by the one or more clients, an organization currently associated with the one or more clients, or calendar availability information for the one or more clients or the one or more resources.
10 . The system of claim 8 , wherein employing the geo-location information, further comprises:
employing a global positioning systems (GPS) device to provide geolocation information that corresponds to the qualified client.
11 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the one or more selection models further comprise:
one or more machine learning classifiers that are trained with one or more of heuristics, formulas, conditions, instructions, parameters, or state machines.
12 . The system of claim 8 , further comprising:
in response to the qualified client confirming the acceptance of the invitation to the open appointment and before expiry of the period of time, closing the open appointment by assigning the one or more resources and the qualified client to the closed appointment.
13 . The system of claim 8 , further comprising:
in response to expiry of the period of time and non-confirmation by the qualified client for the acceptance of the open appointment, performing further actions, including:
non-reserving the open appointment for the qualified client;
employing the one or more selection models to determine one or more other qualified clients that are qualified to accept one or more invitations to the one or more open appointments; and
providing the one or more invitations to the one or more open appointments to the one or more other qualified clients based on the one or more notification models.
14 . The system of claim 8 , wherein providing the one or more invitations, further comprises:
employing one or more notification models that define one or more communication modes to communicate the one or more invitations with each qualified client.
15 . A processor readable non-transitory storage media that includes instructions for managing resources over a network, wherein execution of the instructions by one or more processors enables performance of actions, comprising:
generating one or more selection models for one or more open appointments based on one or more unassigned resources and one or more characteristics of one or more clients; determining a criteria for qualifying each client to receive one or more invitations to the one or more open appointments, wherein geo-location information for each qualified client is employed to select one or more of a time zone, spoken language, financial currency, or calendar format for inclusion in the one or more invitations; employing the criteria and the one or more selection models to provide the one or more invitations to the one or more open appointments to each qualified client; and reserving an open appointment based on the qualified client confirming an acceptance of the invitation to the open appointment.
16 . The processor readable non-transitory storage media of claim 15 , wherein determining the criteria further comprises:
including one or more of geographic location, password, personal identification number (PIN), a resource previously assigned to an open appointment accepted by the one or more clients, an organization currently associated with the one or more clients, or calendar availability information for the one or more clients or the one or more resources.
17 . The processor readable non-transitory storage media of claim 15 , wherein employing the geo-location information, further comprises:
employing a global positioning systems (GPS) device to provide geolocation information that corresponds to the qualified client.
18 . The processor readable non-transitory storage media of claim 15 , wherein the one or more selection models further comprise:
