Abstract
A system (information processing device) is caused to determine at least one game medium from among a plurality of game media to be provided to a communication terminal, cause the communication terminal to display the at least one game medium, provide the communication terminal with a game environment to test the at least one game medium; and store the at least one game medium in association with an identifier of the communication terminal upon receiving a notification from the communication terminal indicating that the at least one game medium has been selected for possession.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method of controlling an information processing device for providing a game to a communication terminal, the method comprising:
determining a game medium from among a plurality of game media to be provided to the communication terminal associated with a user; causing the communication terminal to display a screen including the game medium, a first button, a second button, and a third button, after determining the game medium; and receiving a request to provide the communication terminal with a usable environment of the game medium in response to receiving a selection of the third button, the usable environment indicating to the user at least one function of the game medium before a selection is to be made, via the first button or the second button, whether to associate the game medium with a user identifier of the user.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:
associating the game medium with the user identifier of the user associated with the communication terminal in response to receiving a selection of the first button, and not associating the game medium with the user identifier of the user associated with the communication terminal in response to receiving a selection of the second button.
3 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein
after receiving the request to provide the communication terminal with the usable environment in response to receiving the selection of the third button and when a time elapsed since determining the game medium exceeds a predetermined limit, not providing the communication terminal with the usable environment.
4 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein
the screen further includes information indicating a remaining time until receiving a selection of the first button is permitted.
5 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:
combining the game medium with another game medium, in response to receiving a selection of a fourth button that is also included on the screen.
6 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:
causing the communication terminal to display another screen after providing the communication terminal with the usable environment, the another screen depicting the usable environment and including the game medium, along with an indication of an ability of the game medium, as well as other game mediums.
7 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein
the usable environment corresponds to a demo that illustrates the game medium interacting with other game mediums.
8 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving a setting of a number of times that the communication terminal is to be provided with the usable environment.
9 . An information processing device for providing a game to a communication terminal, the information processing device comprising:
circuitry configured to
determine a game medium from among a plurality of game media to be provided to the communication terminal associated with a user,
cause the communication terminal to display a screen including the game medium, a first button, a second button, and a third button, after determining the game medium, and
receive a request to provide the communication terminal with a usable environment of the game medium in response to receiving a selection of the third button, the usable environment indicating to the user at least one function of the game medium before a selection is to be made, via the first button or the second button, whether to associate the game medium with a user identifier of the user.
10 . The information processing device according to claim 9 , wherein
the circuitry is configured to associate the game medium with the user identifier of the user associated with the communication terminal in response to receiving a selection of the first button, and not associate the game medium with the user identifier of the user associated with the communication terminal in response to receiving a selection of the second button.
11 . The information processing device according to claim 9 , wherein
the circuitry is configured to, after receiving the request to provide the communication terminal with the usable environment in response to receiving the selection of the third button and when a time elapsed since determining the game medium exceeds a predetermined limit, not provide the communication terminal with the usable environment.
12 . The information processing device according to claim 9 , wherein
the screen further includes information indicating a remaining time until receiving the selection of the first button is permitted.
13 . One or more non-transitory computer-readable recording media including computer program instructions, which when executed by an information processing device for providing a game to a communication terminal, cause the information processing device to:
determine a game medium from among a plurality of game media to be provided to the communication terminal associated with a user; cause the communication terminal to display a screen including the game medium, a first button, a second button, and a third button, after determining the game medium; and receive a request to provide the communication terminal with a usable environment of the game medium in response to receiving a selection of the third button, the usable environment indicating to the user at least one function of the game medium before a selection is to be made, via the first button or the second button, whether to associate the game medium with a user identifier of the user.
14 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable recording media of claim 13 , wherein
the computer program instructions further cause the information processing device to associate the game medium with the user identifier of the user associated with the communication terminal in response to receiving a selection of the first button, and not associate the game medium with the user identifier of the user associated with the communication terminal in response to receiving a selection of the second button.
15 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable recording media of claim 13 , wherein
the computer program instructions further cause the information processing device to, after receiving the request to provide the communication terminal with the usable environment in response to receiving the selection of the third button and when a time elapsed since determining the game medium exceeds a predetermined limit, not provide the communication terminal with the usable environment.
16 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable recording media of claim 13 , wherein
the screen further includes information indicating a remaining time until receiving the selection of the first button is permitted.
17 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable recording media of claim 13 , wherein
the computer program instructions further cause the information processing device to combine the game medium with another game medium, in response to receiving a selection of a fourth button that is also included on the screen.
18 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable recording media of claim 13 , wherein
the computer program instructions further cause the information processing device to cause the communication terminal to display another screen after providing the communication terminal with the usable environment, the another screen depicting the usable environment and including the game medium, along with an indication of an ability of the game medium, as well as other game mediums.
19 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable recording media of claim 13 , wherein
the usable environment corresponds to a demo that illustrates the game medium interacting with other game mediums.
20 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable recording media of claim 13 , wherein
the computer program instructions further cause the information processing device to receive a setting of a number of times that the communication terminal is to be provided with the usable environment.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
