Abstract

A method is provided, which includes identifying, for presentation, separate interactive objects, each separate interactive object being associated with a particular finger of two or more fingers, wherein a position of each separate interactive object changes in response to a movement of the associated finger of the two or more fingers, obtaining, for at least one separate interactive object, a determination of a property of a screen area surrounding the at least one separate interactive object, and modifying a presentation property of the at least one separate interactive object based on the determined property of the screen area surrounding the at least one separate interactive object. The property of the screen area surrounding the at least one separate interactive object is determined based on at least one of: a brightness, a color and a pattern of the screen area surrounding the at least one separate interactive object.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A system comprising:
 a processor implementing:
 identifying, for presentation on a presentation device, separate interactive objects, each separate interactive object being associated with a particular finger of two or more fingers, wherein a position of each separate interactive object changes in response to a movement of the associated finger of the two or more fingers;
 obtaining, for at least one separate interactive object of the separate interactive objects, a determination of a property of a screen area surrounding the least one separate interactive object; and
 modifying a first presentation property of the at least one separate interactive object based on the determined property of the screen area surrounding the at least one separate interactive object,
   wherein the property of the screen area surrounding the at least one separate interactive object is determined based on at least one of:
 a brightness of the screen area surrounding the at least one separate interactive object;
 a color of the screen area surrounding the at least one separate interactive object; and
 a pattern of the screen area surrounding the at least one separate interactive object, and
 wherein the at least one separate interactive object is at least one of a cursor, a scrollbar, a slider, a knob and a button.

         2 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a display configured to display the separate interactive objects.

         3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the modifying of the first presentation property includes modifying a brightness of the at least one separate interactive object.

         4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the modifying of the presentation property includes modifying a contrast of the at least one separate interactive object.

         5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the modifying of the presentation property includes modifying a transparency of the at least one separate interactive object.

         6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the modifying of the presentation property includes modifying a color of the at least one separate interactive object.

         7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the modifying of the presentation property includes modifying a flashing of the at least one separate interactive object.

         8 . The system of  claim 1 ,
 wherein the processor further implements detecting that a path of movement of a finger of the two or more fingers does not correspond to a known gesture, and wherein the modifying of the presentation property of the at least one separate interactive object comprises changing a color of the at least one separate interactive object in response to detecting that the path of the movement does not correspond to the known gesture.

         9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the processor further implements detecting a presented element to which the at least one separate interactive object is moving towards and changing a color of the at least one separate interactive object to indicate interaction with the presented element.

         10 . A method comprising:
 identifying, for presentation on a presentation device, separate interactive objects, each separate interactive object being associated with a particular finger of two or more fingers, wherein a position of each separate interactive object changes in response to a movement of the associated finger of the two or more fingers; obtaining, for at least one separate interactive object of the separate interactive objects, a determination of a property of a screen area surrounding the at least one separate interactive object; and modifying a presentation property of the at least one separate interactive object based on the determined property of the screen area surrounding the at least one separate interactive object, wherein the property of the screen area surrounding the at least one separate interactive object is determined based on at least one of:
 a brightness of the screen area surrounding the at least one separate interactive object;
 a color of the screen area surrounding the at least one separate interactive object; and
 a pattern of the screen area surrounding the at least one separate interactive object, and
   wherein the at least one separate interactive object is at least one of a cursor, a scrollbar, a slider, a knob and a button.

         11 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising displaying, on a display, the separate interactive objects.

         12 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the modifying of the presentation property includes modifying a contrast of the at least one separate interactive object.

         13 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the modifying of the presentation property includes modifying a transparency of the at least one separate interactive object.

         14 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the modifying of the presentation property includes modifying a color of the at least one separate interactive object.

         15 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the modifying of the presentation property includes modifying a pattern of the at least one separate interactive object.

         16 . The method of claim 10 , further including detecting that a path of movement of a finger of the two or more fingers does not correspond to a known gesture,
 wherein the modifying of the presentation property of the at least one separate interactive object comprises changing a color of the at least one separate interactive object in response to detecting that the path of the movement does not correspond to the known gesture.

         17 . The method of claim 10 , further including detecting a presented element to which the at least one separate interactive object is moving towards and wherein the modifying of the presentation property of the at least one separate interactive object changes a color of the at least one separate interactive object to indicate interaction with the presented element.

         18 . A method comprising:
 identifying, for presentation on a presentation device, separate interactive objects, each separate interactive object being associated with a particular finger of two or more fingers, wherein a position of each separate interactive object changes in response to a movement of the associated finger of the two or more fingers; obtaining, for at least one separate interactive object of the separate interactive objects, a determination of a proximity of the at least one separate interactive object to a displayed element; and modifying a responsiveness, of the at least one separate interactive object, to received control interactions based on the proximity of the at least one separate interactive object to the displayed element, wherein the at least one separate interactive object is at least one of a cursor, a scrollbar, a slider, a knob and a button.

         19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the displayed element is an interactive element.

         20 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the modifying of the responsiveness of the at least one separate interactive object decreases a sensitivity of the responsiveness to the received control interactions as the at least one separate interactive object becomes closer to the displayed element.
