Abstract
The present invention relates to a refrigerator having a partitioned, separate deep-freeze space in a storage space of a refrigerator, and the aim of the present invention is to disclose a refrigerator having a deep freezer compartment which is not supported by a separate injection-molded component and in which a basket inside the deep-freeze space can be drawn out together when opening and closing the deep freezer compartment.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A refrigerator, comprising:
a freezer space that defines a storage space; and a deep freezer portion disposed in the freezer space and defining a deep-freeze space that is partitioned from the storage space and is configured to maintain a temperature that is lower than a temperature of the storage space, wherein the deep freezer portion comprises:
a housing that has an opening at a front surface thereof and defines the deep-freeze space,
a door configured to open and close the front surface of the housing, and
a basket disposed in the housing and configured to be inserted into and drawn out from the housing based on the front surface of the housing being opened and closed,
wherein the basket comprises:
a fixing member configured to couple the basket to an inner surface of the door, and
a first support member configured to contact the inner surface of the door,
wherein the fixing member and the first support member are each disposed at a front surface of the basket facing the inner surface of the door.
2 . The refrigerator of claim 1 , wherein the door comprises a groove that is defined at the inner surface of the door and the fixing member is configured to be inserted into the groove.
3 . The refrigerator of claim 2 , wherein the fixing member is configured to be inserted into the groove defined at the inner surface of the door and detachably couple the basket to the door.
4 . The refrigerator of claim 1 , wherein the fixing member and the first support member are disposed at the front surface of the basket and are spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance.
5 . The refrigerator of claim 4 , wherein the fixing member and the first support member protrude from the front surface of the basket, and wherein (i) the fixing member is disposed at an upper part of the front surface of the basket and (ii) the first support member is disposed at a lower part of the front surface of the basket.
6 . The refrigerator of claim 1 , wherein the basket further comprises a second support member that protrudes from a rear surface of the basket and is configured to contact an inner bottom surface of the housing.
7 . The refrigerator of claim 6 , wherein the basket comprises:
a first surface facing the door; and a second surface opposite to the first surface, and wherein a grill is disposed at the second surface and configured to introduce cold air.
8 . The refrigerator of claim 7 , wherein the second support member is disposed at a lower part of the second surface.
9 . The refrigerator of claim 8 , wherein the first support member and the second support member are disposed at a same height from a bottom surface of the basket.
10 . The refrigerator of claim 6 , wherein a contact member is disposed at the second support member and configured to directly contact the inner bottom surface of the housing.
11 . The refrigerator of claim 1 , wherein the deep freezer portion comprises:
a guide rail disposed at a lower part of an outer portion of the housing and extending along a longitudinal direction of the housing; and a guide member coupled to the door and configured to move along the guide rail, and wherein the basket is coupled to the inner surface of the door and is spaced apart from the guide member by a predetermined distance.
12 . The refrigerator of claim 11 , wherein the guide member is coupled to a lower portion of the door.
13 . The refrigerator of claim 11 , wherein a length of the guide rail is longer than a length of the deep-freeze space, and wherein the length of the deep-freeze space is a length from the front surface of the housing to a rear surface of the housing.
14 . The refrigerator of claim 11 , wherein the guide rail is recessed in a lower portion of an outer surface of the housing extending along the longitudinal direction of the housing.
15 . The refrigerator of claim 11 , wherein the guide member is configured, based on the door closing the front surface of the housing, to protrude from a rear end of the guide rail.
16 . The refrigerator of claim 11 , wherein the door is disposed at the guide rail and configured to, based on the guide member moving along the guide rail, move along the guide rail and be inserted into and drawn out from the housing.
17 . The refrigerator of claim 11 , wherein the inner bottom surface of the housing is spaced apart from the guide rail by an outer thickness of the housing.
18 . The refrigerator of claim 11 , wherein a first side of the guide member is coupled to the door and a second side of the guide member is configured to, based on the door closing the front surface of the housing, be disposed behind the deep-freeze space.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
